Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is based on state education policy,for an extent it is relevant . adding to that our college has concepts like experencial learning and skills labs where we get to about the subject in depth by ourselves only exams have mmoderate difficulty and they are conducted once in month or so(roughly)

Internships Opportunities

internships opportunities are available in our college and many companies offer internshipd here and we are also allowed to take internships from outships,just we require a permission from the principal.

Placement Experience

Placements in out college are decent,the average package here ranges around 10 LPA, We get companies like JP Morgan,TCS,L&T ,Infosys ,Oracle etc recently from ISE department 108 students were placed out of 125

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined this college through KCET , so costed me Rs.1,07,000 per year. other charges include lab fee and admission fee which rs.10,000 for comedk entries and manegement quota students it is around 3 lakhs per year and there is fee deduction for reserved students there are few scholarships other than state and national scholarship program

Campus Life

campus wise NIE is too good. We have got two campuses namingly south and north campuses.north campus has cse,ise and aiml and south campus has ece eee civil and mechanical engineering courses fest are conducted very often by different departments and clubs

Admission

The main reason for choosing this college was the city when it comes engineering in karnataka , we find bengaluru as filled and congested place,so as an alternative for bengaluru i thought of joining in mysuru and through KCET i got into NIE (north)

Faculty

As of my experience the faculty is very experienced.They also have good teaching skills with good interaction skills too,which is found in many of the colleges for me our mathematics and cyber security teachers are too good.

Night Life

mysuru as in city gives such a great exposure for us.People loving peaceful and happy can be adaptable here and people loving party and buzzing life will also have fun in this city college is surrounded by some good restaurants and more over dj nights and all such stuff happen commonly in the campus itself

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

I got this college through KCET. My rank was 9k and I am pure general merit student, so I got this college in 2nd round. I personally prefered this college more at all which I could have got for my rank because of the experience of the college and main factor was the place where college is placed that is Mysore.
