  • Our attendances are held at stake so that we attend meetings and functions. I understand it's so that the hall looks full but using our attendance is deductedndance against us is bad. If we don't attend our attendance is deducted.
  • Due to NAAC, the proctorial board has been very strict but to the point it is unnecessary. Apparently people can't even wear sports shoes even if they have injuries wearing formal shoes. "Buy expensive shoes so it wont hurt". It's mentally straining

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive. It focuses on many aspects of psychology, philosophy, history, mythology, real life, fiction, morality, nature etc. Also the theories and critical analysis gives deeper understanding of texts and helps us with critical thinking.

Internships Opportunities :

Our course took the initiative to add internship into the course curriculum and it was the best thing they ever did. It gave us an idea about how work would be outside of the university. The teachers helped us to find out places of internship though they initially wanted us to find it on our own. That was a good thing since it made a lot of the students come out of their comfort zone and find internships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

We pay fees every semester. So 2 semester equals to 1 year i.e. 35000+35000= 70000rs as fees. Most of the fees is structured in a manner that doesn't make sense to me and according to my family's financial status, it is costly. Yet at this point, I'm in my 3rd year so might as well complete it.

Campus Life :

Library has a lot of books but the moment I need a book, that exact book won't be available. It cannot be found anywhere. I asked the librarian but the librarian discarded my query saying that I needed to use the computer to search for the book whether it is available in the library. I proceeded to do that but alas the certain website for the Library doesn't even work. I returned without finding the book. Our classes have ACs but even those don't work nowadays.

Admission :

The only reason I couldn't go to the college I dreamt of is because my university drained me of all the money I had. It took 1.5lakhs from me at the very beginning. And when I got into the college I longed for. The money was already gone and I couldn't take my admission there. The college wouldn't return the money too so I was basically stuck there.

Faculty :

The faculty is reasonably filled with experienced and knowledged professors. There are few tests here and there that the teachers take to see our progress. Especially, one of the professor does this so that he can have a better understanding of our progress and what to focus on again. Some teachers don't give attendance just for the sake of not bringing a book. It is completely understandable to do so but at least give them a chance to get the attendance back such as seeing whether the student is taking notes, listening well, and also taking part in the discussion. I think that overlooks the fact that the student didn't bring the book.

Night Life :

I'm a day scholar so I wouldn't know about those. The campus does have many spots to relax and hangout. There is this dhaba that provides me home cooked meals such as thali that gives me my energy and strength to deal with the university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good but i feel some things are unnecessary. And it could have been more interesting if some good literature novels were included. I think the university can look again at the course which will be beneficial.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My aim in life is to be a professor and a poet and I think Literature degree is the best way for it. The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course got to be how well the syllabus is made, allowing us to improve everyday. One can prepare for competitive exams well. The curriculum enhances our speaking abilities, grammar, our social interactions and make us better intellectually, which is again, very beneficial for the future because nowadays, the world needs personality development and this curriculum help boost that. hmm, i think, the improvements needed got to be that when assignments are turned in, they should make sure to check if it's AI written or human since some students use AI and get marks because the souce is not checked. Timing of the exams are not frequent, It gives us time to prepare. CT 1 is held 2 months after the semester starts, CT 2 is held 1 month after CT 1 and the end semester exam is held in the end.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) 10/10 for economics, it's very practical and I can relate it with real life cases 2) it's tells us the economic theories and models related to real world and helps us grasp the concept through which we can shape our understanding of the real economy and real life cases 3) I feel like proper notes should be given by the professors in a definite manner and detailed syllabus with each specific topic must be given 4) our end sem exams are conducted on December and June. The difficulty depends upon our preparation. The difficulty is moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since the uni. board has opted to follow the NEP 2020, the syllabus and the course patterns are very detailly picked for each semester. This education policy also has and lets students to take equal opportunities in learning a subject out of their honours paper, by letting them choose a wide range of common papers that might help in ability enhancement, skill enhancement, multidisciplinary and value added courses. This broadens a students level of expertise too. So its a great way of learning I'd say.
