Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum has been designed to maintain a fair balance between practical and theoretical aspects of the media. I am going to a recent shift in the industry where digital media is gaining more momentum I believe the courses need to be re-designed to give students an advantage of UN operating software in digital equipment before they enter the industry.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The year wise fees ranges up to 22000-25000 depending upon the course. Scholarships are also available for students belonging marginalised communities. The fees is almost static and doesn't seem to be increasing in near future.
Campus Life :
The campus life is pretty much happening with all the workshops and seminars being held at various points of time in your college life. Moreover different clubs that are created by students also organise different programs in the college and celebration of festivals and rituals usually takes place in a traditional manner.
Admission :
Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University for journalism and Mass Communication is the first university in Asia to confer a formal degree in mass communication and journalism courses. I chose this university because it's affordable and holds a great name for itself in the media industry.
Faculty :
The faculties are good, they are experienced and possess the necessary knowledge for teaching the students about various aspects of the media. Teachers in the journalism and advertisement department are good as they try to provide hands-on training experience to students.
Night Life :
Since I was not a hostel can't comment on the nightlife in the college but from what I have heard it's safe to be out there since the college is located in a remote area there are security and gates to prevent students from going outside the campus during the night time.
