Course Curriculum Overview :

I choosed Computer Science engeneering in Rit Roorkee because of the high paying jobs available, computer science is the need of the modern world and CSE is very interesting course. There are two internal exams taken by the college after you have to give external (semester) exam.

Class Size : 62Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In RIT Roorkee you can get a placement opportunities from third year onwards but to get internship opportunities you can get from second year onwards. Companies like IBM, L&T, KPMG and many more companies give internship opportunities

Placement Experience :

In RIT Roorkee you have to complete btech course of 4 years placement starts coming after3 year onwards, you get good on campus placement opportunities offered by many good companies. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 56 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid :

For doing BTech CSE in Roorkee Institute of Technology I am paying 130000 per year for my academics and 75000 for the hostal facility other then this you have to pay 7000 for college dress, there is scholarship for state board toppers only.

Campus Life :

The campus life of RIT Roorkee is really good. In RIT Roorkee campus you get a cricket ground, a volleyball court, a kabbadi court, three badminton court and a basketball court. Campus is surrounded by many beautiful trees

Hostel Facilities :

In rooms of RIT Roorkee hostel you get a bed, a chair, a table, a almirah, the hostel fee for non AC triple seeter is 75000 per year including mess, The food you get in the mess is ok-ok like other mess. If you want pg you have to go to Ramnagar which is nearly 4-5 km from college

Admission :

I choosed RIT ROORKEE because of many reasons. One of reason is it's NAAC grade which is NAAC A++ there many other reasons like on campus placement opportunities, beautiful campus, good average package.

Faculty :

The faculties of RIT Roorkee are Assistant Professors, in one class there are 60 students, there are two internal exams and then the external (semester) exam. As I CS student the best faculty of programming in RIT Roorkee is Gaurav Chaturvedi sir

Night Life :

In RIT Roorkee hostel they only allow onting before 9 pm after that you can not go outside and for girl the time is 7 pm. In RIT campus you get a gym, a library and a canteen. For night Masti you can play badminton in hostel badminton court

Geniune Overall review for placements and overall life of 5th sem student

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. Companies visited our college -Google, Amazon, Accenture,Tcs, Flipkart and many more . These companies visit our campus from 5th to 7th sem for placement drive. Highest package offered -50 LPA BY GOOGLE And avg package offered is 3-4 LPA by TCS 60 -70% students gets placed every year My aim is to aim for a good placement from my campus, if not , then will go for our campus and startups.

My review of GEU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is based on the latest technologies used in the real world. The courses are structured in such a way that the students don't face any diffuculty to study and the entire course is relevant to the real world applications. The curriculum is comprehensive and makes it much demanding in today's growing technological world. The teaching method are more based in practical learning anf there are exams held twice in a semester as mid-sem exams and end-sem exams. The difficulty level lies between moderate to tough level.

The Unbiased Truth

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
