Course Curriculum Overview

5

I personally like the contemplative aspect of this course that isn't available at any other universities, this fact itself makes this university unique on itself and it helps with your mental health and it's truly amazing considering that we're students of psychology.

Internships Opportunities

4

The university itself provides internship within campus and also gives reference letters signed by the dean of the department. Different departments have different structure and regardless provides internship for every student. The in campus internship is usually around the semester breaks.

Fees and Financial Aid

With scholarship, that is provided to every new student during admission, the fees for the year (2 semester combined) is ?172,900. Tution fees is 65,000 in 1st semester, and 130,000 in the following semesters. You are also asked to pay provisional fees of about 48,750. One time fees is 9500, library deposit 5000 and lab deposit is 3000. There's also annual fees of 91500, which is paid yearly. Hostel fees which is to be paid per semester, is 30100 for non-ac 3 sharing and 70100 for ac 2 sharing. Hostel security deposit is 10000. Mess charge is 27000.

Campus Life

5

We celebrate every festival together, especially ganesh pooja and navratri, which is usually lead by student clubs and everything is handled by students, with the help of faculty members. Clubs are active all year around and have meetings and activities every week. We have especial access to different online and offline libraries and the University itself has 2 libraries. The students are provided with wifi cables that they acn even take to their rooms, and access to wifi in the university too.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are metal bed with mattress provided for each bed, and 1 ac in ac room and 2 fans in non ac rooms. One can register for hostel during the admission itself. The mess facility is outside the hostel and provides pure vegetarian food.

Admission

I chose this college mainly because of its strong root in contemplation. I did get accepted to Kalinga University, but it just didn't have the same peaceful vibe that ssu holds. Same goes for other universities. Plus the fees and the courses here are so much convenient.

Faculty

4

The students here are more than the actual faculty members. They can be too much at times and the fact that ours is a small department makes it homely yet too much of 'not much privacy '. The members are good at their job, and there's overall no complaints.

Night Life

5

There are lots of cafes and places you can explore around the campus. And 4 cafe and a shop with daily necessities inside the campus. There's a gym in every hostel. Hostel in timings are 6 am to 10 pm. Campus in timings are 7 am to 9 pm.

Course curriculum is very good at niser and are comparable to some foreign institutes. There are world class facilities available for you and the labs are the main insights here. But you have to be somewhat attentive regarding your exams as exams are easy to moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a lecturer so i choosed the royal course Masters in zoology rather than any other specialisation course. And the course Masters of Science in Zoology, Botany is provided by very few private universities in Odisha and AIPHU is one of them i think probably the best one. Faculty do come and leave but there replacement is done simultaneously. The faculty student ratio is normal. Most of the faculty members have completed there PhD as well as Post Doctorial research from foreign universities and medical. Our faculty focus on building strong foundation. They start from basics and teach the difficult topics in very simpler way. We have two midterms each of 1 hours and of 100points which get converted to 20 marks. And one endterm of 50 marks and 10 marks for internal assessment. Midterms are brainstorming but it makes us thorough in specific units which makes endterm exam easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this allows me to delve deeper into the passion for understanding animal life and their biological processes. Secondly, this is also a step towards my goal to become a researcher. The faculty members at our university are very dedicated, highly qualified, with their post-docs from a renowned university and are very cooperative. They teach us in a very friendly way, and their passion for research enriches the academic environment. The difficulty level for term exams is medium, neither too hard nor too easy, and requires hard work.
