The faculty of my department is relatively good and cooperative.
Boys are more in strength than girls because agriculture being a career requiring physical strength.

Financial problems arrive a lot here. My fees are very huge with no scholarship.
Food in the region is hard to adapt since we came from northeast india

Course Curriculum Overview :

Talking about course curriculum, id say its not matching the fees paid by us. No proper infrastructure and materials for our electives and projects. But the degree is removed now so I don't think we need to discuss it further

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 87000 per year

Placement Experience :

From last year students are eligible for placement drives. Accenture, tata consulting and codeyoung recently visited. The highest package as of now is ctc 7.5lpa. For placements priority is given to the engineering students. Comparatively we science students get less chances of getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Detailed fee structure for my bsc hons agriculture fees is 85000+2500 Rs per semester. Yearly equals to 175000. I applied for nsp scholarship but didn't get selected. The scholarship provided by university also got cancelled due to some subject problems. I heard the fees git increased.

Campus Life :

Lots of festivals and events took place inside universities. Cultural extravaganza and events like the north east festival also conducted recently. Thetr are a kot of students bodies who will help us in anything and also anti ragging squad members are here. Animal welfare groups called the paw society cu is also there. Sports also regularly takes place inside universities . Libraries are here with aesthetic look and good books. There are a total of 3 main libraries

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities like fan, water cooler almira bed etc is given. Meal quality is okay but since we came from northeast the food is hard to adjust. You have to register through cuims website only and talking about affordability, it depends person to person but i find it a little expensive. If you can afford its fine but if you can't tthere are pg and flated available in kharar, gpb etc. do it according to your comfortabilty.

Hostel Fee : INR 90000 per year

Admission :

I admitted to this university late through college dekho. In ads our university seem top class with all the infrastructure and environment. Plus placements and global interaction takes place a lot here. Supportive community, diverse student bodies and extracurricular activities.

Faculty :

The faculties of my department is good and understanding . Helpful ang cooperative. Especially teacher called shubham sir. He is one of my most fac teacher. There are few faculties who are very rude and uncooperative but overall its good

Excellent College with good infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Almost 75 to 80% of students get placed on campus only but for this, you have to work hard and be in the top 10% for placed in good companies. You are eligible for campus placement after completing your 6th semester. Now the highest salary offered is almost 7-8 lakh pa. and the average is 4-5lakh pa. For a good package, your academics have to be very good otherwise you weren't going to be selected. I have not taken placement because I have to prepare for CAT. I want to do MBA in ABM from IIM Lucknow. It's my dream.

Chandigarh University For Agriculture Course

Placement Experience:

After completion of 1st year, they divide students on the basis of taking placements or no placement students and they charge 10,000 extra those who opt for sitting in placement. They mainly focus on BTech students however in Agriculture some companies like Nestle visit and it started in 2019 only. Chandigarh University is not ICAR accredited so there is no surety that they will provide placements to agriculture students. However, you can take internships outside the campus and can also get a post in FOREST SERVICES after clearing UPSC-IFS. They provide coaching for civil services exams but they ask for fees i.e. 60,000 per year.

Placement Experience:

From the last 2 semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Too many companies visited like google, amazon, Dell, meesho etc. The highest package according to my knowledge is around 14lcas per annum. Almost all good students get placed that serious about studies. My plans after getting a degree to take a placement at a very good package.

In our college sixth semester students becomes eligible for campus placement. The highest package as per the company offered is 30k. Almost 20% of students getting placement. My plans are doing work in a respected company.

From the Sixth semester, placement Is available. The package of the company is about 15 to 25 thousands. the percentage for placement of students is above 20. after getting the degree I want to do a job .other wise I will go foreign country for doing m.sc agriculture.

SVIET is good college for the placement and brilliant future of students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. there are many companies visited on the campus and no. Of offers are made. The highest package offered by the companies is rupees 15.5 LPA offered by Amazon.com. There are overall 60 to 70% students who are getting placement. College: My Experience

Admission:

I remember that i that time i was young and i have an extreme determination inside me i love my country and it was everything for me as a person i respect army and farmers too much. Tried to crack Indian defense exams but i was fail so then i took my admission in bsc Agriculture the course is not much popular among students but the demand for tarined professional in agriculture field is very high

Placement Experience:

No i hadn't avail any placement because i left my course in 2nd year due to some family issues but as i see the top MNCs top companies like Nestlé, Microsoft, Amazon Flipkart Google etc came for placement i remember in 2016 more than 300 companies came to the college
