We can study at home at our own peace , it is helpful for the people who go to job daily and overaged or who not interested to go college.
The syllabus is so easy and the fees is so affordable, also we get book for free . And we can access their library through online

Dislikes

The service they provide . They won't pick even call to complain our experiance and problems
We have to go their regional office to submit assignment, it'll be easy if it can submit through online

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is so easy anybody can learn through either book or pdf . The syllabus of English is so easy and it comes with different chapters including electronics and logistics and environmental studies

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 5500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My yearly fees for ba English is 5500 per year We have to renew by paying fees for next year. The college doesn't charge for books we will get by courier for free . And we have to submit assignment and have to pay extra for exam registration

Campus Life :

Currently our collage doesn't celebrate any type of functions and programs, because it is distance program,but we can access the book by online and there are many tuitions available for this course by egyankosh and youtube

Admission :

Because it is time efficient and we can study at being home and it is so affordable who anybody can learn . Also the people like me who aren't intrested in traditional degree will love this type of distance education

Faculty :

I'm currently doing distance degree , so I don't know about the campus life and i have no interactions with my university students. But they will let us know if there any meeting they are conducting through email

Night Life :

There is no night life and there is no college life in indhira Gandhi open University. Only we need to go for appear exams they are conducting, even that is also not at their collage they have collaborated with colleges across india

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper.But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Life as a student in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
