Remarks :

Good college if you wish to learn dentistry and if you are not getting a government dental college then in Maharashtra Pdu dental college is a good choice as the staff here is very knowledged. It's upon individual how he performs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is good. The course provides you a correct path towards learning dentistry. Exam should be more clearer in practical. As it is more important that a dentist should have a good practice and experience.

Placement Experience :

No there are no job opportunities that our college provide or no placement. But you can apply for staff in the college. Yes there is internship in college but you get nothing for it. As it is a private dental college.

College Events :

There is an annual gathering in our college in the month of February. There are interested college cricket matches arranged by our college in which other medical College come and play. Also our college arranges some CDE programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is around 1,75 lakhs per annum. Yes it is feasible. It is one of the least fees you have to pay in a dental college. The infrastructure is not as good as the fees but the education here is better.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

U will get the government scholarship if you are in any reservations category and don't take admission in NRI or open quota. Bank loans are available but no college loan is available. U can also get scholarship for economic backwards class.

Campus Life :

There is dental lab in our college along with a computer lab. We participate in cricket competition arranged by our college also by homeopathic college. It's a professional college so no trips are arranged but the students can arrange by themselves.

Hostel Facilities :

Boys hostel and girl's hostel are available in the campus. Boys hostel is clean nowadays but it would not be when we were living in the hostel but the management has taken some effort to improve. U can stay in hostel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The senior students are always helpful and of welcoming nature. I myself got a lot of help from seniors and alumni network. Senior ragg a bit in start but they are friendly afterwards. And the seniors also help u get instruments.

Faculty :

The faculty is very well educated and highly experienced. The management of the college is not that good as students are generally having problems with the management and their attitude towards students.

Modern day Dental Education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.

Life at GDC MUMBAI

Review of my dental school

Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.
