Mess food is quite good taste wise also it's surved hot breakfast options are also good
The hostel and the mess is close to at walking distance makes u do a little excercise good tho

The anatomy lab has no cadaver for dissection purposes
There is not enough campus of the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Dentistry is a well-known profession and has a lot of scope also internationally. We do have clinical postings in third year and 4th year 4. Now as first year we have pre clinical prosthodontics as a subject of which exam is in. 2nd year and the exams are scheduled as first internal second internal prelims and then finals

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship available in our college is the same internship which everybody has to compensorily do. I do not know much about it yet, but I see a lot of interns in our College. I think the internship is not that bad. Also not that good. It's just average

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship are mostly based on the government seats approved on cap rounds If you fall under OBC EWS SC ST etc catagory mostly the total fee for open category is around 2.8 lakh there is hostile available which will cost around 50k/ye mess food 32k/yr also you spend a lot of money on the instruments you buy by during the procedure etc

Campus Life :

As there is no campus of this college so no campus life. But still you have a gym. You guys can play cricket or volleyball to go. There is a badminton code on the stage in the Audi room the city is quite far from the college, approximately 15 km. You can have one over there with just you have to travel

Admission :

You have to score a decent amount of cut off marks in neet exam and if you get selected by government seat you get the scholarships available according to categories. The admission process is simple. You just have to bring all of your documents with the first year fees. DD of the bank and submit the documents to register yourself as a student of this college

Faculty :

The faculty is good they are approachable u can ask then doubts and questions regarding there subject. All of then are friendly n strict both at a time we have four professors 3 of them are MDS graduate one from Malaysia for dadh physiology stuff and anatomy stuff for mbbs graduates.

I feel its an interesting branch i get a lot of exposure to patient i learnt many things related to the oral cavity Teaching methods can be improved by introducing root canals and extraction since 3 rd year beginning and more of the patient flow also this course practice ancient methods so they nust introduce new aspects and new techniques which are used in clinics

Modern day Dental Education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.

Life at GDC MUMBAI

Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.
