- GEU has the topmost campus and slowly the campus is expanding too.
- Faculties are dynamic and they also make us work equally harder.
Dislikes
- Local students act like goons and therefore they disturb the peace and harmony which exists anyways at the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Exams at GEUbatarts with class tests which happens in the first month of new semester. A month later we have our mid semester exams and after that practicals and finally sem end in December. So basically our semester begins in Agusgt and ends in December.
Placement Experience :
Placements begin with training from the third year and then finally we get opportunity to swing our hands at the interviews. Forget about Indian international but international companies like Microsoft and Google also come at our campus. Every year they hire a good number of students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Graphic Era University's School of Engineering is one of the best school of the UNIVERSITY that charges 5 lakhs a year for engineering. For SC/ST a flat 25-40% scholarship is awarded like if the student are from Uttarakhand they will be given 40% scholarship and if they are from other state then 25% scholarship.
Campus Life :
Sports wise we do lack some facilities like just a ground which is not enough to play cricket and thereoftfootball becomes the only option. But academically one of the most equipped universities as we have n number of labs and all are air-conditioned. Also our classrooms and library are also air-conditioned. Fests are plenty and the biggest of them is GRAFEST.
Admission :
No rejection for me as I just enrolled here and got admission the same day. Infact in next hour after I enter the campus as one question paper was given to me. I submitted that in 15 mins and in next 15 mins admission representative came to me and said you are qualified.
Faculty :
Our faculties are best among any in Doon Universities. Some of them do have experience of teaching in UPES and BFIT but even they have said the liberty that they have been provided at GEU has made them explore all the possibilities. Hence, they never shy away from experimenting and give us the best ways to learn.
Night Life :
GEU is located in Clement Town which isn't so good for night life but cafes here are too good. The best of the lot is Raasta Cafe which is always over crowded. There's a 24*7 shop in the vicinity and to unwind it's mostly movie session with friends and to take care of our munching the 24*7 shop is more than enough.
