Remarks :

Best part of college is extra activities and placements. But fees is too high. Also infrastructure of college is the best. Faculties are helpful except some. And also they provides opportunities to students for international exchane programs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is quite good. They used to change course for new batch based on suggestions given by students and companies which comes to the placement. There are 4 exams in year 2 mid semester and 2 end semester exams.

Placement Experience :

Placement scenario changes every year. Highest packages offered in petroleum engineering was by ongc to 11 students last year. About 70% students got placed who are eligible. In other branches placements are not much high. Also they provide internship opportunities to 3rd year students. And in second year there is industrial visit. In first year you have to go for rural internships.

College Events :

Flare( different cultural events and pronite) Petrocup(sports event) Tesserct(technical event) Spe fest(petroleum technical event) and many more. Also there are so many quizes, also so many clubs for learning differnt activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its quite expenaive. Fees is about 2.3 lacs per annum.also there are NRI seats. For them fees are double to normal category. But still i think its good to pay this much fees for getting better placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are 100% scholarship for jee main rankers. Also after first year they gives 50% scholarship to top 7 students of the batch. Also all the govt. Scholarships you can get. There is a sbi inside campus which helps students to get education loan.

Campus Life :

Labs are quite good. 2 years ago they have opened india's first DCS lab for petroleum research. Also sports facility in collage is quite good. There are almost every sports like cricket, basket ball football, etc. And there are many clubs by joining that you can enjoy your college life.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is alumni committie which organise alumni meet each year. In that seniors gives suggestions to students. Also seniors are very helpful. Also some topper students organises lectures for juniors in which they teaches junior some important topics for placement and for gate.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are good on their subjects. But some faculties have no experience of teaching. Still they have good grip on subject. 90% faculties teach properly and complets whole course in class itself. But still you have to learn by yourself in some subjects.

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot.
