Remarks :

Good college that hears out the students grievances. Infrastructure is world class. Negative would be may be they try to increase students intake everytime which might deteriorate the quality of students coming and eventually of college in future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Chilled day. Just way you need in college. Lots of extra curricular activities and great faculties. Gives full exposure or learn. u will get ample opportunities to grow. All the labs and classes are well equipped. Good quality of students as well.

Placement Experience :

Internship was okayish. Placements were average. Comparable to top colleges in Gujarat. All in all a good experience. Most of the companies of petroleum sector mostly in downstream visits for campus placements. G companies like gspc, Gujarat gas, gnfc, gsfc etc are loyal recruiters along with ongc, and OIL.

College Events :

Technical fest, petrocup, annual fest, intra college. Navratri and other cultural fests as well. All are big events and attract huge crowds. Pdpu is now one of big attraction for people in Gujarat as there celebrations are great. They also invite well known singers and comedians in their fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I feel the fees is on a higher side. During my graduation period it was around 150000 per year approx. This has probably now increased to 150000 per semester. So not all can afford that fee structure. Although the quality is at pr with fees structure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No idea about it as I financed my own studies through my dad. They have a separate abi branch in the college itself and collaboration with ocb bank, so I suppose there should be loan facility available for students.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities had everything in college. We had all the facilities and labs. Cricket ground football ground TT basketball lawn tennis, chess carrom, kabaddi. U name it and PDPU has all the facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

NA. I was a day scholar. But hostel infrastructure was really good. They had caretakers cleaning the rooms 3 times a day. I had heard my friends saying that room is already clean. No need to clean it more. Clean and green hostel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Weak alumni network. As pdpu is only 10 year old college, it's alumni base is still very less in numbers. They are working towards it but at the moment it is very weak and needs lot of inputs from management.

Admission :

Petroleum industry was booming at that time. And PDPU was doing doing good in terms of placements and had phenomenal infrastructure. There was just an entrance exam of aieee the common engineering entrance exam bases on which I got an admission in pdpu. No interviews.

Faculty :

Some eminent and some emerging faculties. As the course is a not very common stream, it is hard to find by the faculties in Petroleum Engineering. Bt pdpu has managed to attract certain big faculties from IITs and NITs to create a benchmark

PPSU Review

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

Remarks:

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot. It's having highly talented faculties which is I think one of the best feature of this college. Many facilities have completed their post graduation and are doing research in their fields.
