Here in PDPU. there are lots of activity. If you have your startup idea then university will give you fund for you idea!!
Course Curriculum Overview :
The CSE is just started 4 years ago from now. So the first batch is coming out just now. But the cutoff for this course is much higher than other renowned colleges in Gujarat. So you can imagine how good the college is. I am in first year now. After hearing from seniors the CSE is running beautifully.
College Events :
Sports. PDPU is the organizer of Petro cup. That is the biggest sports event connected by any college. Where various students from various universities participate from the whole of India. All the events are celebrated here. Even there are more than 25 clubs running here.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees here is high. It is about 117,000 rs. per sem. So you will have to pay approx 240,000/year. The hostel is not included. Tuition fees 234,000.(every year) Admission allotment fee 3000.(pay every year) Security deposit is 6000.(pay only 1 time) Library deposit is 3000.(pay only 1 time)
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Here you can get scholarships. If you have good rank in gujcet OR have good rank in Jee. Then college will provide scholarships for you. If you have under 25,000 Jee rank then you will get 100% tuition fees.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is 5:1. And campus life is very good. College is spread in 120 acres lush green. College is located in the middle of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. That cities are the heart of gujarat. But the college is situated in a village. Here you will find lots of different clubs. Like avionics(robotic club), Encode(coding club), Brahmand(Astronomy club), Step up( dance club), raiders club, debate club. And lots of. That are active. You will never find yourself free here.
Hostel Facilities :
Here hostel is expensive too. Deposite. 10,000.(refunds after electricty bill) Room fees. 80,000. Mess fees. 42,000. Laundry. 20 rs/pair of cloths. Hostel facilities is good here. But too much expensive. Mess is good here. If you have good financial condition then you can go for this college.
Alumni/Alumna :
University has a very good Alumni network. Who are working in various place and various positions? Seniors are very helpful too.
Admission :
In PDPU admission is based on gujcet and Jee both. Though it is an international college. If you want to take admission through gujcet you will have to apply in ACPC. 60% of seats are filled with gujcet. And 35% are filled with Jee. If you want to apply with Jee. You will have to fill the form on the college's own website. The selection is based on the score obtained in Jee. And you need at least 45% marks in your 12th board. The cutoff for CSE here is about 50000. If you have good Jee score then you will definitely get admission . Because very good jee rank students goes for DAIICT or Nirma university. But PDPU in just 13 years is now running parallel to Nirma university. To get admission in PDPU you will have to fill the form online on PDPU'S official website. There are 3 online admission round. After that 2 or maybe 3 offline round(on campus admission round) will conducted. After payment of fees you will be called in college for document verification. Now your admission is done.
Faculty :
Yes. There are some problems with the faculty here. Not for all the Faculties but some of them. Because they have not muh experience. But here pdpu is going good,too. They are trying to bring the best Faculties. Yet in first-year Faculties are not good. But at core subjects there are very good Faculties here. I am just talking about Faculties. But the management system for all the branches and placements are very good.
