Course Curriculum Overview :

The course encompasses a curriculum which includes homeopathic subjects including Anatomy, Physiology and homeopathic principles. Also , there are routine clinical visits from 1st year itself thus exposing you to the real life challenges.

Internships Opportunities :

After completing academic of 4 and a half years , all the students who cleared their final year University exams are then posted for internship in the hospital itself. The current stipend for Dr BR Sur Homeopathic Medical College interns is ?30000. The role requires assistance and learning in general OPD and IPD as well as in other wings of the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for first year students (AIQ) at Dr BR Sur Homeopathic Medical College is around ?20,000 per annum. This comprises of all the admission charges , tuition fee , university charges etc . From second year onwards the fee is reduced to ?18715 per annum.

Campus Life :

Campus life on the college is comfortable as well as encouraging. Since the infrastructure is not very big, you'll frequently meet with your seniors (who by the way are very helpful and guiding) . Sports day , clinical visits, events , fest are often conducted which enhances the experience overall

Admission :

Among the other Colleges that I applied for I preferred Dr BR Sur Homeopathic Medical College for its excellent academic curriculum, dedication to provide one the best homeopathic physicians and excellent faculty. They focus on the over-all development of a student to a physician and make them overcome challenges they are bound to face during practice. A team of well trained and experienced interns and professors are available for the same. Whereas most of the other colleges lack in doing so , DR BR Sur Homeopathic Medical College is a well renowned government affiliated medical College as well as research centre providing opportunities in research field as well.

Faculty :

Faulty of the college is well experienced and approachable. The professors are practioners and thus bring real life experience to the class which improves your learning experience. The first year has 2 semester exams and 1 university (final) exam whereas rest of the years have 1 semester exam and 1 university (final) exam

Interview Experience :

There was a group discussion with the head principal and other facilities during the time of admission which I found helping. Other options available for me were laid down and almost everything I needed to know was told to me about the course and college. You will find it to be helpful if you have any doubts before choosing this course or college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year would be of 18 months. Semester exams are taken every 6 months and in between internal exams. Class tests are frequently taken by teachers. Our course has been changed into a competent dynamic curriculum in which the focus is more on practical approach and application or theory. The cons of this course is only every time we have to experience exam stress. Exam stress is very much

I think in the doctor profession there is utmost respect that's why I choose this career. The faculty-student ratio is approx 500:80. Qualification of faculties are PhD holders, MD graduates, and specialists in different medicines. Exams are timely and it's easy to pass the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See frankly speaking it was never like I wanted to study homoeopathy only and it was my dream to pursue BHMS but when you qualify an all india level competitive exam like NEET and then you get a govt medical College then it's a pride in itself and feels good, definitely BHMS is not as good as MBBS if we talk about career aspedcts but if we talk about homoeopathy itself without comparing it with MBBS then it has huge csope for you as you become a licensed medical practitioner after completing this course and you can go for Post graduation or even UPSC CMS exam to become an medical officer so all in all if you want to pursue homoeopathy then go for it don't hesitate it's a very good course to pursue. Talking about facult of my college, here we have a set of one of the best faculties of homoeopathy of the country, many of our professors have thereselves qualified UPSC CMS exams and are appointed as medical officers so facultywise we are very privileged in this college.

The college infrastructure is a little bit too old and doesn't give a good impression at the first sight to freshers even myself when I joined but a good place to gain knowledge and many successful homeopaths came out from our college only.
