Remarks :

Just one negative that the food quality of mess is not good and they give the same type of food every month. They don't don't change their menus. We get 4 times chicken in a week and that also the taste is not upto the mark and since I have opted for North Indian noveg still I have to eat Idli and Dosa almost everyday.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is very diverse.we have to complete 180 credits in the 4 years and each subject carries 3-4 credits.so we have to study around 45-47 subjects in the whole B.Tech.we have a pretty good examination structure..there are basically 3 levels of exams named as CAT 1,CAT 2 and finally FAT.also there are lab term end exams which we have to give just before FAT.CAT 1 and CAT 2 are the internal exams which carries 30% of the whole marking scheme while there are assignments and quizzes which also carries 30% marks and 40% marks is carried by FAT

Placement Experience :

Placement is very good as most of the students get placed every year.Even VIT got Limca record for most number of placements in India. This yet too highest package is 39 lacs.Evem the average package is 5 lacs.So placement of VIT is very good

College Events :

We have 2 fests in our college one is the technical fest called GraVITas and the other one is the cultural fest called the Rievera. The technical fest happens in the month of September and in this fest students from different clubs show their talent and make different types of mechanical devices which can help the people in the future. The second one is the cultural fest known as Rievera. This fest occurs in february and in this fest many famous celebrities from India come and perform.food stalls are also kept to entertain that students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is little bit high.It is divided based upon your rank which you have got in VITEEE.if you get a good rank you can do your B.Tech under 11 lacs and if your rank is like very low you even have to 25 lacs for the same course. The mess and hostel fees remains same for all

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a scholarship programme known as Smt.Rajeshwari scholarship. It is given every year and to those students who are underprivileged and cannot afford the fees of the college. It is given to those students whose parents have a yearly income<1 lac, that student should not have any disciplinary action taken against him and the student should be good at academics

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are also good at VIT.With facilities of swimming, tennis, chess,Gyms and many more keep the students fresh and confined.they don't get bored and they are able to release pressure with this. They have to pay some minor fees to avail these facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

Our college has 12 men hostels and 7 girls hostels.Hostels are pretty good with all the facilities like WIFI,water cooler,AC etc.even the mess is also inside the hostel.the main problem is that the hostels are little far away from our classes.we have to go out from the hostel about 20-25 mins before the commencement of the classes.the girls hostels too have the same facilities but they are nearer to the classes.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes,recently VIT started an alumni programme in which they have collected all the final year students' social media account and based on that they made a group. It is a very good initiative taken by the college.with this we can easily contact to our friends even after a long time.even the college too have a data about their students.

Faculty :

Faculties are highly educated.most of the faculties have M.Tech or PhD degrees from IITs or NITs.They teach very nicely. They have a while bunch of knowledge which they share to us.They are very friendly and if we want some help they will never say no

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
