Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum did make me think about having a career in what ive studied. The exams were very difficult for me and i have had 2 back papers throughout the course. The teachers should do more practical teaching. As a cyber security student, we need more practicals rather than book knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

2

Not a lot of internships are given by them, atleast not in the field i was in. One of my classmates actually got an internship in Amazon as a customer support service, but i wouldn't say the college has many internships to offer.

Placement Experience

4

The college provides quite a lot of placement opportunities. If you stick with the college, there are good companies that would probably take you in. Although, not many students pass the cutoff but companies like Amazon provide jon opportunities with good salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tot fee for the course was 2,70,200, but i had to only pay 60% of it and the rest 40% was paid by the Asha Jyoti Scholarship provided by the college themselves. The new and udpated fee is about to be more than 3 lakhs this year onwards.

Campus Life

3

The campus was pretty small and not a lot of students were usually around to make it a more social environment. We had a lot of events happening throughout the year. This college being more on the Arts side, we had fashion shows, theatres, other types of shows, people from other countries have come to perform to our campus.

Admission

I chose this college because it had pretty advertisements about cyber security and how its much better at this college. I couldnt find many colleges with the course, so i had to reside with this one. But I wouldn't prefer this college for technical courses like mine.

Faculty

4

The course structure was pretty good and most of the faculty members were friendly and likable. Some professors really made it difficult to stand them. The exams are pretty hard and easy at the same time. There are multiple invigilators in one room along with multiple cameras and people always have an eye out. But passing wouldnt be much hard because of the university the college is based on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.
