I expected many things because i am joinig a univeristy that too in kerala. But it didn't reach my satisfaction because the college i located in a remote village. The things i liked is faculty. That's all.
The environment near the college is very calm and nice full of trees surrounded

Dislikes

The events conducted here. There is event called VIDYUT Fest. Which is conducted every year. But in my first year it is not conducted as they are postponig.
The other colleges are enjoying by attending fests. I am seeing my friends stories and all.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this college because there are electrical and computer subjects in my course. So that I can prepare for the gate exam or I can go into the software side. My curriculum is mainly in electrical subjects they will teach us everything and it is not as expected that this college is preparing you for real-world applications than other colleges. This college is nice in some areas.

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship opportunities provided by our college. Based on the CGPA we secured by the time of internship time we will able to apply and the management will conduct an exam to apply for internships. I am in Semester 3 and the college provides internships only in 3rd Yea

Placement Experience :

Mainly for CSE-AI there are good placements. For core branches there not as expected. Some major companies like oracle, Microsoft etc recruited some of the students in our college. As to my knowledge, oracle offered 21LPA and it's highest by oracle company. 85-90% students placed. My plans after completing degree is to get a better placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The detailed fee structure of our college is based on the College entrance exam and jee main exam marks. Based on marks the student will be assigned a fee slab. The fee slab will be different for various courses. For my course, ELC(Electrical and Computer Engineering) the slab 1 fee at the time of my admission which is in the 2023 year is 1,00,000/- per year slab 2 is 1,75,000/- per year and slab 3 is 2,50,000/- per year.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is conducted at the VIDYUT National Level Fest. It is conducted in MAY every year. For every festival, they will conduct an event mainly the UGADI event will be very nice, especially for Telugu students. The books here in the library have a lot of range and many copies. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are good. There is projector in every classroom and Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus. College offer many extracurricular activities. There are clubs which are student-run and the top clubs are amFOSS and bi0s. bi0s is the top cybersecurity club in India.

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities provided in the room are a bed, chairs, study table, and mattress. In our hostels AC is not provided all rooms are Non-AC. The meal quality is average and the menu here served is vegetarian. The registration process of a hostel is simple not that much hard. After paying the tuition fee in online only we have to register for a hostel. I didn't rent any room or PG

Admission :

As I got a seat in this college I joined this college. I have written other college entrance examinations but I didn't get a rank. So finally I decided to join Amtita Univeristy. Yes, some colleges rejected because of my rank. Due to its high rank and It didn't reach the cutoff which the college mentioned.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:12 on my campus. Some faculty members are biased and support only local students, while others are very nice and support every student. I liked some of my faculty members, but I can't name them. As I was in my second year only, I still had to see many people. There will be a Mid-term examination and an End-term examination. The course curriculum is very good. In my class, nearly 8-9 students failed to clear some subjects.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I have Jee mains exam in 2024 . I attended the JCECEB counseling, I got this college first I thought will this college be suitable for me , but when I came here I think that I am satisfied. I choose Electrical branch here . As I mentioned the course BEE and PPS. also helping us from the starting to get a better way to understand the course , means what is it all about . In my opinion the classes should be for much long duration as for now it's around 1.2 hours per class as per the routine, so according to me Classes duration should extend. As talked from the seniors I got to know that the difficulty level of exams are quite moderate , means the students who have studied for the exams will. Not find any difficulty bin scoring good , also most of the questions are repetitive.

An honest review of GCE KANNUR by a student

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement from 5th semester and there are a lot of companies which conduct placement in our college some of them are TCS ,L&T,Indian oil adani limited, J&J ,TATA ELXSI And more The average is 4 to 6 and highest is 18 LPA but there are students who got 24 to 30 LPA without college placement working your own to find a company More than 60 percentage of the students gets placed every year and the percentage is increasing yearly I'm planning to write ICRB EXAM after the degree to get into ISRO

There are over 800 placements everyyear we get from this college it's quite well we get the placement traning too for it, people at first may learn little low which could discourage me aa a student l, but believing that later on after gaining much more experience I could get the best One helpled me to stick on to this college palacement.if I don't get the deserved placement as well I would look for the gate exam by which I could countinue my education there with good standards..
