Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good.Same as that of the syllabus of Top iits.The faculties are good at teaching but the exams are difficult and we may feel that while listening in class,the topic might be easy but in exams they may ask a twisted and difficult question.There will be regular class tests and a mid term and end semester exam in a single semester

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship opportunities offered by the college to students in their third year like Atlassion,BNY Mellon,Amazon,LNT etc.Students should fall unte certain criteria to apply for the specific internship companies.There is a department called as CIR working for the placement of students inside the college to enhance students technical skills.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements and there are some top companies that visits every year like Wipro,Bosch,lnt etc.Highest package may vary depending on the course and the present highest is 40lpa.And the average may vary from 6-7 lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year wise fee is fixed for slab 4 and above students.The students who study under slab 1,2,3 should maintain a minimum cgpa every year to maintain their paying fees,if not maintained the fees structure may change with respect to the cgpa.There is no need of any extra fee payments like lab fee,exam fee etc.

Campus Life :

Tech fests like anokha happens everyyear to showcase the new inventions and the talents and some religious fests like gokulashtami celebrations happens every year.Sports and extra curricular activities are less compared to other colleges.There are many clubs present like moto Amrita etc.And a Very good library is present here with free access to online books too.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room is provided 4 carts with 4 Iron lockers.The power supply is good.The meal quality is good but it's regular and the same menu is provided every week which makes us to hate it.Registration for hostel is done with the same portal for college fee payments.

Hostel Fee : INR 110000 per year

Admission :

I applied for some certain colleges like Vellore institute of technology,Bits pilani,snu chennai,snu Delhi but I selected Amrita because I didn't get the course I wanted in those colleges.Amrita accepts Jee mains percentile and has an entrance exam for their admission process

Faculty :

Two faculties will be the incharge for a single classroom of 65 students.The faculty to student relationship is good between some faculties but there are some faculties who can use their personal vengeance on you.The exams are really difficult here .Many people may find difficult to cope up with the curriculum

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
