VIT - A place to learn a chance to Grow

Remarks :

The diversity of the college is a positive remark. Students from all over the country, as well as overseas students, provide a lot of diversity on the campus. This diversity helps a lot in overall development.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is fine most important aspect is self learning which is abundant in this curriculum. Exams are held thrice in a semester. Cat-1 30% weightage, Cat-2 30% weightage, Final exam 60% weightage.

Placement Experience :

Yes, placements and internships are excellent in VIT STIPEND offered is highly respectable ranging from (80k pm to 10k pm). And placements from (40 L p.a to 4 L p.a). Placements of VIT is as good as any reputed IIT.

College Events :

2 events are there, Technical Fest- Gravitas, Cultural Fest- Riviera, These fests are mindblowing and fun to watch along with these fest many events are there to participate each and every day. There are a lot of events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is feasible if your rank in VITEEE is good but if your rank is not good and you want a good branch and a campus of your own choice then it is quite Expensive I would say because it all depends on the rank.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there isn’t any scholarship that I can speak or that is quite prominent. But yeah there are some of the scholarships like the top 10 students of each branch. And the top 1000 ranks of VITEEE. They get some concessions in fees.

Campus Life :

Labs and other infrastructure are very good although speaking of sports it's not as good as one would expect. But it has all the facilities with extra charges for any sport you want to play like lone tennis, swimming, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels and hostel infrastructure are excellent in VIT Being a private university it is expected to maintain a good infrastructure and hostel blocks in particular. So hostels are very good at VIT.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the alumni network is made by the college and helps to solve various doubts and difficulties faced by current students but interactions are only possible if you know any senior beforehand. Otherwise, it is very difficult.

Faculty :

Faculty are not as good as one would expect in such a reputed college. Faculties in the college are not as good because the things they use to teach are not used in the current generation moreover there are very fewer faculties that teach properly in the class.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
