Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum has recently been updated to include new subjects that are upto industry standard. The curriculum does help us to prepare for placement interviews at large because it has all necessary subjects. Thr course could be more hands on with practical application rather than focus on theory. Exams are twice a year, mid sems and end sems. difficulty is fairly easy on both. Class tests are teacher specific
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Companies visited are ION group, veersa, accenture, tcs, infosys, optimus info, tech mahindra etc and they have made around 100 offers till yet. Highest package is 17lpa by ION and average is around 6-7 lpa. Currently about 20% Students in my class are placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year Wise fees ~ 1,30,000 to 1,40,000 Tuition Fees ~ 1,17,000 Student Activity Fee ~ 1000 University Share ~ 15000 Group Insurance ~ 100 Placement Fee(only 3rd year) ~ 3000 The fee does increase every year for Btech courses
Campus Life :
Raunak, Avensis are the annual fests and are held in october and march respectively. Library has a wide variety of books and journals that are readily available. Facilities in classrooms are poor, normal chalk and whiteboard. Sports are missing on campus apart from the ground and badminton court which you have to use by yourself. Clubs and societies are plenty. I recommend joining the debating society.
Admission :
I applied to other IPU colleges like MAIT and BVP. I chose this college because of its lenient attendance policies and overall good placement reviews. I didn't get rejected, this is the college I got in Ipu counselling. University accepts JEE mains marks for btech and allots college on basis of rank in counseling
Faculty :
The faculty-to-student ratio is high, but faculties are approachable, and most students share good relationships with them. Dr. Nishtha Jatana and Dr. Geetanjali Mongia are the best. Exams are relatively easy, with few failures, and it's easy to score well with minimal studying
Interview Experience :
There were no GD or PIs in the admission process, only counselling and fee payment. Other criterias for admission are majorly your rank in JEE mains and quota if you have any like Management or EWS or SC/ST
