- Good placements , overall all the major recruiters of Technology field come to our college for offers.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is a bit old ,but they have started to improve some labs even have latest Nvidia graphics card for AI related development.
- Only one canteen in college which is not sufficient.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course is really upto date as per market and technical demands. Artificial intelligence and machine learning related topics are taught in curriculum, for electronics department they are being taught topics like chips design and fabrication . All the industry relevant topics are taught. Exams level is generally medium, if you even once practice the previous year then you will find those questions easy . One suggestion will be that classes should be more coding oriented.
Placement Experience :
Those who have maintained at cgpa of around 7.5 are eligible for all companies. For mass recruiters 6 cgpa is enough. Popular companies are Adobe , Amazon which give highest package on campus ranging between 50-60 lpa , other than them ION,ZS, YAMAHA,VISTA, and many more offer package between 10-20 lpa and take average of 10-15 students per company. Highest package was offered from Google which was international and CTC was 1.15 CR.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Hello folks , I am an IT engineer in third year of my college at MSIT . Our college is really good . The average fee during my batch was 6 lacs for four years but now for 2024-2028 batch it's around 8 lacs for four years with average fee of 190000 at time of admission and 175000 for rest 3 years. For SC/ST candidates there is fee waiver which is to be asked in admin office they will share the details about that . Also for Kashmiri Migrants there is fee waiver policy, there fee is paid by AICTE to college. The major chunk of fee structure is tuition fee , university fee ,and some miscellaneous. There is scholarship for OBC , SC ,ST and minorities provided by Delhi Government Merit Cum Means which covers whole tuition fee. For general candidates GGSIPU University provides scholarship amount of 50,000 per year.
Campus Life :
Best part of college is that the seniors are best here , the college society/ clubs like IEEE, ECELL,VEDA , PRAKRITI, and many more offer experience about many domains ranging form engineering,finance, quizzing, and nature related,ngo related work. There is basketball team , football team of our college which has even won at National level , sports teams have their own clubs . There are dancing, singing, painting, finance, advertisement, societies also . The college life is really good here .
Hostel Facilities :
One has to apply for hostel at time of counseling and admission, then their list is resulted .The rooms are normal rooms non ac , they have bed , balcony to high floors . There is a study table provided, fans and proper lighting in rooms. The meal includes pure veg menu only, meals provided range from rice curry , chapatis , salad , sweets , most common are chhole bhature , Vada pav, curry, pulses , season vegetables. Food quality is ok ok . PG are really good in our college locality one can share pg with their friends and the accommodation will be pretty affordable some PGs even provide wifi , ac in budget.
Admission :
Our college takes admission from JEE MAIN exam , I had applied for mainly MSIT because it has two shifts morning and evening.In the evening shift we sometimes get free by 12 pm , but the classes usually take place upto 2:30 pm . Other than MSIT I had opted for USICT and MAIT , USICT is government college and both MAIT and MSIT are equal.One can get cse, it if they have percentile around 94-95 for Cse , 90-94 for IT , for ece you can get here at around 85 , and eee even below 80 .
Faculty :
In every semester we go through midsems and endsem examination, the questions come from the topics which were discussed in the class discussion. There is a book called Akash that book is especially for IPU exams there is no question in exam which does not match it's pattern Akash is one shot solution to get easily pass , it can also help to score even above 9 cgpa . All the facilities are good , well experienced, the checking pattern is normal neither too strict nor too lenient.
