Remarks :

Campus is very good. The college location is very nice. They conducts many fests and ita fun studying there. Adding that it is a strict college in the case of discipline and uniform. We have to go to the college in full uniform. People will be watching us for these things. Faculties are very good in our department. We can have do much fun also great memories stydying there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They have included important topics in the syllabus. Also the topics are not ao tough to learn. They conduct series test in every 2 months of a semester and the semester exam is conducted by the university. Series exam's marks are used for the internal evaluation. These marks also get added upon the semester exam. The college also conduct a model exam before the semester exam.

Placement Experience :

There is a placemnet cell in the college. Every year more than 30 companies comes for recruitment. College has a good relation with the companies. There is no internship provided in the college. But internship drive pools are conducted in the college frequently so people from another colleges also can apply to different companies for internship.

College Events :

There are technical fests, arts fest and sports fest conducted in our college. N-site is a famous charity based tech fest conducted by our college. Onam celebration includes so many Compition. The 'pookkalam' and 'vadamvali' Compition is so much fun. Christmas celebration also includes carol song competition and crib making competition. Group vise competitiom is conducted for the arts and sports fests. Celebrities are invited as cheif guest for the arts fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are calculated as per the ranklist. Management fees are different from merit fees. Normally the fees are calculated for every year. 75,000 is the normal fee but fee reduction is available according to the rank you score. Scolarships are also available for the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scolarships are provuded by the college for the students with good rank. Scholarships for students from poor family is also granted. Students from backward community is also granted with scolarship. Hostel fee cancellation is also done as a part of the scolarahip. Students can pay fee with the help of bank loans. They give a fee structure to sumbit in the bank to get approval. The fee will be directly payed by the bank.

Campus Life :

The college gives importance not only to the studies but also for sports and arts. Students gets chances to participate and win in the sports meets conducted by universities. Basket ball club, foot ball club and cricket clubs are very active. Students recently participated in the national level tug of war conducted by the university. Laborataries with good equipments are available. Aeronautical based labs are there. Also all other engineering branch labs are available. Two aircrafts are also there in the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are also provided by the college. Girls hostel is inside the other campus of college and boys hostel is inside the JCET campus. Food is far better than any other college mess but it has some flaws like every mess has. Hostel rate is 40000 a year. Rooms are spacious and neat. College bus is avalialble for girls who stays at the other campus and it is free of fees.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

They conduct alumini get together frequently. The network shares many knowledge about the oppertunities. Many people get chance for jobs through the gruop. Aluminin groups are very active. It is our choice to join in the group.

Faculty :

Faculties in our college are very Supportive. They behave like friends inside and outside of the college. They are readu to clear all the doubts even if it is out of syllabus. They gives notes for the modules. Also gives assignments to improve the knowledge.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
