Course Curriculum Overview

3

Mechanical is evergreen and I have been interested to take it up since 9th grade. It is the best course anyways Maybe more practical and i depth approach. Frequency is unnecessarily too much. Many events come up and it's difficult to manage when faculties come up and put mid sem evaluation in btw or right before the event.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise just for course it's slab wise, for my batch - 1lakh for slab 1 it goes till 4 lakhs for slab 5 category or normal category. The scholarship is based on AEEE entrance exam conducted by the university. Each year depending on the cgpa slab and fee structure for that year increasing as cgpa decreases and even if your cgpa increases your slab won't increase. Now there are more students comiing in and the max fee have increased to 5-6 lakhs tuition alone. Hostel is around 1.12 lakh. (Divided between mess and room) 10000 caution deposit Cse starting is 2 lakhs plus or something but anyways the slab one fee is much higher than mechanical and eee(2022) batch The only scholarship is based on cgpa and if you have 8.5 above cgpa u will be selected for student exchange with expenses taken care of.

Campus Life

4

Annual festivals- DASTAAN( 3 DAYS NATIONAL LEVEL MULTIFEST) nov, ONAM sep or oct, DUSSHERA, RAJYOTSAV. Tech fest- aarohan A lot of extracurricular activities takes place, everyday there is meeting. There 45+ clubs. I myself is the president of the biggest club NARTHANA.

Admission

I e apied to bits pilani, nit and vit apart from this college. Bits was my dream college but corona, my health issues which became really serious affected my studies and the exam. I had to take injection while writing. It was that bad. Vit- I got admission in Vellore campus but backed off since it's too far and it's very huge campus and heard there are many suicide cases and many disciplinary problems especially among the relation between boys and girls. Nit, I didn't want to go because Amrita is better in terms of discipline and placement. They were well known and I prefer private than government college because of the discipline and care the university give. My campus doesn't have ragging issues like other colleges and they take strict actions against ragging.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very approachable in my department. Other departments there are faculties who r nosy and poking into personal lives unnecessarily. The assessment is continuous assessment, everyday or week there will be quizzes or lab evaluations or exams. There are faculties like naidu who talks bout us in their own language and degrade us in front of other faculties, doesn't even teach maths properly. he has knowledge but a lot of ego issues and doens't teach properly. Another one who likes to like nose into everyone's buisness. Few or many who doesn't concentrate or wants to fail do fail. Every year they change the curriculum and update it
