College is practical centric not theoretical.
Experienced teaching staff with some literally doctorate level
Campus life is full of fun and new experiences

Dislikes

Hostels are too poor in condition even without fans
College is strict and asks for 75% attendance
Exams times are too bad like half papers are before diwali and half are after diwali

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is too complicated, like NEP-1.0 is good, focuses on alot for your major subjects. Our pervious batches used to learn some concepts in their TYs and we learned them in our FYs. Practicals for major minir are everyweek which focuses kn practical based learning with theory

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This college just lacks around placements. College does not offer any placement for BSc students you need to work kn own to find job and internships but professors help with letting you know about internships and opportunities to work on your goal

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee structure is 12,800 for Maharashtra students and 14800 for Non-Maharashtra students. There is no difference of fees between categories. Everything is included in this even exam fees. For hostels its 55000 per year without food.

Campus Life

Campus life is too good when you walk around campus it's interesting as whenever you enter amphitheater something would be going on. College has alot of clubs for students in various departments and sports

Admission

This college has good infrastructure and old school vibes like its too old and historic, if you just let someone know about your college they literally have reaction like wow. Would suggest to choose it due to practical based learning

Faculty

College faculty is okayishh, alot of professors are too experienced and full of knowledge but everything depends on you about your success they won't much involve is student future life yeah but college does.

The memorable college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't do well in my 12th and I didn't want to give any entrance exams, so this was my only last option left. Teaching and non-teaching staff are both excellent. The exams were held on their schedule without any delay. There were a decent number of students in the class. The way they taught it, it was very much easier for us to score good marks.

I like zoology and the department is quite supportive. i won't say they just give students whatever they require but they make sure everyone got their exams well done. there were 2 term exams once every 1 months. one was specifically online so that students get the right freedom of having both hybrid exam practice

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Being part of MIT ADT University there are some disadvantages of not being a regular student. We always need to be in our best behaviour, need to be always dressed in uniform in college function and a high penalty of suspension is followed if presented differently.

A great place for learning

Remarks:

The college is good and nice crowd with willingness to study, and have some fun good faculty..There is just no bad remark about the college. Its one of the best college in the northeast of India. It provides the perfect environment for a student to study and accomplish its dream. College management was really good, including the faculty members selected for teaching the subject had really very good knowledge which they would transfer it to us.

I applied to only 2 colleges as my first preference was fergusson. So I only appied to fergusson and garware college. I got selected there too but as I got selected at fergusson while I was in dilemma whether to pay fees of garware or not , I decided to give fergusson a chance. So for admission process, they took an entrance exam for which we had to pay Rs. 800/- as processng fees of application and exam. So after giving exam the scorelist came and on the basis of that cutoff was decided for various categories.
