Likes

The teaching type is so good that the students can understand the way of teaching easily. They provide us a concept map which include all the important topics of the subject.
The faculties are so friendly that you can ask any doubts to them and clarify them. The faculties are very educated and friendly.

Dislikes

Actually their is not that much that i dislike about my college

Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.tech programs generally cover core engineering subjects along with electives and practical labs.Actually I was interested in computer science engineering so I decided to take that course and when I went through many reviews, I came to know that Saveetha school of engineering is a good college for computer science engineering. The exams are conducted in paper mode.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college provide a good placements. Many varieties of companies come for placements. According to your Cgpa you can attend the interview of the company.The college provides a good placement Training for the students so that it will be easy for the students to answer the questions asked by the company easily.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I pay 2.5lakh per year including transport. Transport fees is 42500 for all routes.As i secured 80% it is 2lakh tution fee or otherwise it may vary according the grade you secured in 12th standard.My friend secured 70% and she is paying 2.5lakh as tution fee.

Campus Life :

SSE provide sports and extracurricular activities and you can enroll for them if your interested. On January they conduct Pongal and many other festivals. Also they will conduct many symposiums and technical events.

Admission :

I applied at Rajalakshmi college and sastra college but atlast I got at Saveetha school of engineering.The course I wanted was not available at other colleges because the seats were fulled,so when enquired in SSE ,the course was available so I enrolled there.For computer science engineering you should atleast have 80% and for other courses it may vary.The admission process is very easy if the seats are available and if you have the mark they expect then you can get a seat.

Faculty :

Faculties at SSE hold advanced degrees and have a mix of academic and industry experience and mainly involved in research and have published papers in reputed journals.The b.tech programs generally cover core engineering subjects along with electives,practical labs, and project work.The curriculum is designed to be industry relevant, incorporating the latest technological advancements.

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
