Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was lured by the specialisation in Cyber Security & Threat Intelligence to be admitted in the course and it was the only reason that I opted for the course. The curriculum is very good based on the real word applications and seeing how the industry is moving very fast. The course is designed in a manner that students easily comprehended. The areas that need improvement in terms of course and curriculum is that the syllabus should be a little bit less for the students to be even more comprehensive and there needs to be a lot more practical applications and practicals in order for students to understand what they really need to learn. the frequency and timing of exams is what it should be.

Placement Experience

4

Placement here at Manav rachna university is I would say average. Student is eligible only in the last year of his graduation. If he's from B, Tech and the companies that visit MRU are mostly who have tied up with the college or who are mass recruiters. The highest part is that went of in BTech is 34 LPA which is just the two students. Percentage of student getting placement is really low up to 50%. I am working at Coforge, which is NIIT technologies and I got this opportunity from the college itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees that i paid was 1.25 lpa which is with 50 percent scholarship in a Computer science engineering specialisation course. Actual fees per year is 2.44 lpa without scholarship as per year 2020-24. Here, you can avail merit scholarships or can crack MRNAT exam for the scholarship which is held at the time of admission. You can also avail Dr OP Bhalla Foundation Scholarship Program by being a volunteer and contributing to the trust. There are a lot of ways you can save your hard earned money in the scholarship program if you are eligible.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life in this college is really amazing. The club involvement is also really good. If you are capable and not a social introvert person you can make friends very easily and you can get an admitted into any of the clubs or societies that you want. I was a part of Music society myself and I was the President of the Music society the whole time. I was also the Pr head of the college.

Admission

The reason I got admitted tomorrow University was very lame and it was because it was very near to my house and I did not want to travel to long distance. I did not think that I should be admitted in a very good reputed in university where my marks were really good in order to get me an admission in much better university which went wrong in my case and this is what I would suggest to every fresher that please get admitted in a university where you get the best out of it and not just your comfort. Admission process here in Money University, really fast and simple being a private university, it gets you admitted in just 2 to 3 days where you just need to submit the application and do the formalities and pay the first semester of the first quarter of fees and you're good to go.

Faculty

4

Faculty is student ratio is comparatively lower. Faculty student relationship again depends on the nature of the faculty, which I believe some faculty members are really nice and others are just for the sake of destroying students life. Namely, Hanu Bhardwaj Ma'am, Abha Sharon Marcus Ma'am and Geeta Bhardwaj Ma'am are really good people, they consider students as their own children. For exams, Earlier there used to be three different examinations in a semester, but later it was changed to just two. The examination is not that difficult. Every student can pass the exam by just being attentive in the class.

Placement Experience:

I’m only just past my first year, so I haven’t yet taken part in any placement drives, but I’ve learned that students become eligible in their seventh semester once they’ve cleared all papers with at least a 50% score. From what seniors say, big names like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant visit the campus, offering around fifty, thirty, twenty and fifteen slots each, plus a handful from smaller firms. Last year’s top package was about 21LPA, and the average landed near 6.5LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure at NIT Kurukshetra is fairly comprehensive in terms of covering core mechanical engineering including subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, and manufacturing. Basic electricle and electronics is not taught here which i find disturbing. Exams are conducted on time, two mid semester exams and on end semester exam with moderate difficulty as far as i know.

Placement Experience:

Here in KR Mangalam University, plcement opportunities start from the 6th semester. Many companies come to the campus for placements like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and a few startups too. Some students also get internships before placements. The highest package offered was around 36 LPA and the average package is between 7 to 9 LPA. Most students get placed especially those who have good coding and communication skills. The university also helps students for their interviews and written , aptitude tests through training programs such as boot camps and my more ideas. After completing my degree, I plan to either get a job through campus placement or prepare for higher studies like M.Tech or go for government exams depending on situations.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students

Students are eligible for placement right from 7th semester. And placement goes on till the end of 8th Semester. A lot of companies, (around more than 50 companies ) arrives our collage for placements. It even includes some very famous companies such as amazon, flipcart, IBM, etc. Highest package that I have seen that has been given to students is Around 16 lakhs. I was really very happy with this kind of packages. Collages tries their best that each and every student gets placements, but If I talk in numbers, then around 90 percent of students gets placements easily. I am not planning to get placement, as I would like to continue with Higher Studies, i,.e, MTech.
