Dislikes

  • Their washrooms was little bit dirty at that time but may be till now they renovates and gave a good sanitation facilities
  • Most of the times ground remains empty. Mostly students didn’t want to play games at that time

Course Curriculum Overview :

To be very honest, The reason I choose ignou was my marks. I got 62% marks in 12th so that I didn't have an opportunity to took admission in regular college in the field that I want so after that I checked on internet and after that I saw about ignou and took admission in the field that I want to take. The curriculum in ignou is generally well aligned with industry standards. Ignou emphasises on distance education makes it accessible to a wide range of learner Teaching methods should be improvised. Only 2 class held in a week only on Saturday Sunday and in this some teachers didn't teach mostly students bunk their classes Exams are not difficult nor easy. They are medium paced everyone could pass in their exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid 8300rs as yearly fees This includes all tution fees and other fees Scheduled caste students paid 5000-6000 approx for this same programme. When I joined this college there is no such scholarships and other programmes but after 2021, our university gave scholarships to sc/st students and refund all fees after the admission in confirmed.

Campus Life :

As I'm a ignou student I didnt go college that much but sometimes I saw some clubs like environmental club and Raksha clubs in my college doing protests about nature and plant trees in the garden Their moto that I remember till today was "Plant one tree and it will help you to live better"

Admission :

I applied for Aurobindo college and shaheed Bhagat Singh college but my marks are not good so that I was not shortlisted in that colleges so I took admission in ignou and it is a very good university for a student that don't want to do regular college Yes I got rejection from other colleges that's why I took admission in ignou but ignou is not a bad college that everyone thinks. It is as good as regular colleges. The only difference is that in ignou you go college on Saturday Sunday but in regular you go on week days The eligibility of taking admission in ignou is that you have got passing marks in your 12th standard after that fill admission form form their official website Fill all the necessary details like date of birth, your full name, father name , mother name and 12th marks etc. And then pay the course fee after few days to got confirmation for your admission after that enjoy the college life of 3-4 years

Faculty :

Mostly faculties was very polite and good. They support students and teach them in a proper and understanding way My favourite teacher was Sushmita mam, she was very polite and very understanding. She helped me in many different ways, if someone didn't get anything in classroom she teaches students one on one. The most disliked teacher by me was Ankush Sir, he was very rude and angry man type. He gets angry on little little things. If someone came late 5-10mins he didn't allow them to sat in the classroom. Exams structure are like that IGNOU held exams twice a year First in July and then in December Fill exam form and pay fees of courses you selected in your form and then allot centre yourself where you want and then gave exam.

Placement Experience:

There is low placement in our college. The students who are in 6th semester are eligible for placement. The companies visited in college are Wipro, Walmart, Mother Dairy, Deloitte and many other companies. And placement per cent is 90 percent. The highest package is 19.65 lakh and the average is 6 lakh. My plans after graduation is to prepare of government exam

Placement Experience:

College offers placements in the 3rd year. The placement cell of Kirori Mal College helps students getting placed in their dream companies. But their is no placement for the IT sector. Placement is for other courses like Bcom and others. Basically students prefer higher studies for good package because ug packages is not that up to mark. My plans is to get into higher studies and than get placed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The value of my course is very high even though it is difficult compared to different courses but has a good return though the teaching mechanism can be improved and the class rooms as well and level difficulty should be reduced as per standards

Admission:

I applied for the college by making an application online on the official website of the college. I was called for test and interview after clearing which I was granted the admission in the B.Sc program. Later on I was called to complete the formalities and submit the fees. I opted for the college as it is one of the popular fashion designing college in Delhi-NCR region. The college also has its branch in Mumbai.

Placement Experience:

Placement in our college is decent. The institute has tied up with various firms that offer good packages to the students. These firms also extend internship opportunities for the students. One can also look for off campus placement as many of our seniors have made into good firms on their own effort.
