- The placements could be much better because there are scopes for improvement
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculm is very well structured and straightforward. It often also includes activitys so that the students can have a better learning expirence. It helps us to be better prepared for real world situation in accounting and finance industry. I feel like more hands on expirence is needed to improve the course structure. The frequency of exams are 2 units and 1 mains per semester
Internships Opportunities :
There are a few big companies that do come for internship programs in jain For ex: EY is a big 4 company that recruits a lot of students from campus for their 6 month internship program after which they might select u as their own employee. Other companies are deloit, goldman schacks, monrow etc. Stiphend is around 6000 to 20000 rps.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible after 2nd semenster onwards Deloit, EY, JP morgan, Goldman shacks are some of the companies that visits the college. Highest is 17lack per annum Average is 1lack per annum Percentage of students getting placement is 80% My plans are to study for my masters degree and then find a job in india itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure is 200000 for 2nd and 3rd year and 250000 for the first year which includes college admission fees Registration fees is 50000 Batchmates also have around the same fees itslef except for NRI, they have 300000 per annum fee structure. Scholarships are around 5-10% of fees.
Campus Life :
The annual jain festival are held every year. The months are march, june, September and December. There is a wide range of books and journals available in library. The library is very big and nice The facilities and technological aspect of the college is also very nice and professional. Sports activites are very minimal and not Much is going on about it There are a lot of social groups like anveshana, scaps, forum etc
Admission :
I choose this college because of how friendly and understanding the college and its management is to students. Compared to Christ its not very strict Compared to St Josephs its not very expenisve I didn't really apply to other colleges, only for this I applied The process of selection is JET( jain entrance exam). If u pass that then there is interview test and after that u get selected to college
Faculty :
The facility memebers are very professional and understanding of the students. For international courses like ( acca, cma) etc the faculty memeber are nice and they teach well. Exams are conducted evey 6 months after completion of a semester and 2 unit tests are also conducted in between. The exams are pretty much average for b. Com subjects but for ACCA subjects it can be very hard I don't dislike any faucilty memeber but i like some teachers because of their teachings
Interview Experience :
Interview was on just random commerce and general knowledge topics. Commerce knowledge of grade 11 and 12 is very important. After passing JET exam then next step is Interview I didn't prepare much, just went and did my test
