Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum in terms of relevance has been so carefully made to cater to our needs. Especially past semester i had a course called IOT which is internet of things which was very usefull for me as i got to know and learn about new things

Internships Opportunities :

They provide us with internship opportunities from the first semester itself . Many companies like goldmann sacchs and ey have taken many students for their internship. programmes and later given them offer letters for job after their graduation.

Placement Experience :

In st josephs students can sit for placements from the 5th semester. Many companies have so far come into our college like EY , GOLDMAN SACCHS, DELLOITE etc . Offering to a lot of students with an avg package of 300000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for the first year was 99500. From the second year it has been 79000.There are various scholarships available for students from both the management and the government that the students can avail.

Campus Life :

There is a very good campus in our college as they provide us with everything thay students need to engage with themselves . There is full sized football court , a volleyball court, a basketball court , and a badminton court that the stidents can access.

Admission :

I chose this college because of the value and recognition that this college offers when compared to other colleges like christ where i had also applied. I chose this college also because of the exposures that i would get here as there are students from across the globe studying here.

Faculty :

The faculty here at st josephs university is so good in my experience as they have helped me a lot in getting my interships done and also for placements. The exams here are done two times a semester. One mid semester and one end semester examination.

Night Life :

The nightlife in and around the college is bad if i am being honest. I wont recommend this college to students who are looking for nightlife as they dont allow the studenst to hang around the college after 6.

Placement Experience:

As am currently pursuing a course called ACCA. I have to write exams and there are other plans of doing MCom. After the 5th sem, the students get the chance to take part in campus placements. there are many multinational and regional companies that attend the fair so there is no problem of searching for jobs. companies like EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered etc attend the fair. The companies offer more than 30000 packages for the new placements. Multinationals almost offer more packages and there are other multinationals who offer less, the money is not the issue but the quality of experience that is being gained is what counts. The ones who clear the interview will get the placements. Almost 90% of the students get placements. My plan is to take up MCOM to get a double degree. And am currently doing ACCA along with BCOM.

Remarks:

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
