Remarks :

I didn't avail any reservations even after being an OBC. Yes I would like to have some improvements as the college doesn't properly tell when the next years would be like and they tell you that they will help in any way possible but after that, they just don't.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to take ACCA. They gave all the necessary help which I wanted to know about the course they even conducted seminars by inviting the head of ACCA dept from Mangalore to know about the course. The faculty for the BCom was good I would not say that all the faculty are good, there are some newbies who find it difficult. But the experienced ones are really good they teach us very well. The lectures are highly qualified and the experienced lecturers teaching methods are the best. They use smart classes. The exams were not that difficult I passed them easily without any difficulties.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies which come on campus placements also include multinationals and the interview is almost always rigorous as there are many students who take up interviews and the placement is present only for few, there are many tests and other group activities and there are many other activities which are conducted from the HR so that they can select the best from the candidates. There are verities of jobs offered by the companies as there are various requirements by the company for various posts. Many students get into good companies and have great packages. Overall this college is best in case of campus replacements as there is a wide range of companies and a perfect completion from the candidates.

Placement Experience :

As am currently pursuing a course called ACCA. I have to write exams and there are other plans of doing MCom. After the 5th sem, the students get the chance to take part in campus placements. there are many multinational and regional companies that attend the fair so there is no problem of searching for jobs. companies like EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered etc attend the fair. The companies offer more than 30000 packages for the new placements. Multinationals almost offer more packages and there are other multinationals who offer less, the money is not the issue but the quality of experience that is being gained is what counts. The ones who clear the interview will get the placements. Almost 90% of the students get placements. My plan is to take up MCOM to get a double degree. And am currently doing ACCA along with BCOM.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no major fees hikes but yearly they increase the fee. The fees structure for me was 30000 for BCOM and and another 25000 for CA and there was scholarships and financial assistance that was being provided to the students by the banks . And there is a campus job fair where all the companies including multinationals attend the fair to employ the graduates. Overall the fees is average and the quality of education is better. The campus placement helps the students to find the jobs easily.

Campus Life :

There are many fests which are conducted by the students in which we can take participation. The fests are conducted by the lecturers, not by the students and they are conducted every month of a year for example if there is a Hindi diwas there would be a Hindi fest. There are lots of stationery in and around the campus it is very easy to buy books and stationery. The library is also usable by the students anytime during the day and night. The classroom has facilities like CC Camera and smart classes which help the modern necessities. There are sports and extracurricular activities on the campus and many of the students from our college almost always win in tournaments or any matches. And the sports team is also given good facilities and training so that they can give their best performance. They are given many other benefits like fewer fees and no hostel fees etc. There is a journalist dept which is run by the students and which is supported by the college.

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
