MIT the dreams of students

Dislikes

  • I didn’t find anything that I didn’t liked about my university

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course Bba in International Business influenced me to choose this university it gives you knowledge of real time what's going around the world and our mid term exams are over now and the final term will be in December I think

Internships Opportunities :

As of I'm in 1st year soo I really don't know how the placements work here but still very big big companies visits your campus like Tata ZS association google Microsoft Amazon etc and there is a competition called hackathon is our campus in which we have to make a project and make a detailed information of that how's it is useful and how it is made and if you hot selected then college will help you in funding for your project to make it successful

Placement Experience :

As now I'm in first year bba I don't know more about the placements some of my friends are in btech they told me there placements are going on from third year only as their course is of 4 years and placements are also good here I have listen from the news and my friends

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1st year the fees is 200000 and 2nd year fees is 210000 and the third year fees is 220000 so the total fees for Bba Ib is 630000 and my friends also pays the same amount of fees and at this point this course at this price is worth it for most of us

Campus Life :

My overall experience till now is very good there are many cultural programs happen daily or weekly and the clubs that students run are also very good very productive and sports are also going on in campus many students takes part in sports and their is a feat called persona test in our university that is held in February it is called to be the best feat in out college

Admission :

I choosed this college because of it's campus and teaching faculty and the admission process was not very hectic it was very similar to other like firs you have to give para cet entrance exam and after that if u cleared the cut off and score good u will get an interview call and after that if u got selected and the documentation and fees work is done

Faculty :

There are 70 students in a class among them nearly 40 45 students come to the class and the student faculty relation is also good and there is a mam that teach us financial accounts her name is dr. Anamika she is very nice to stundets her behaviour is also nice and there are two exams in one semister mid term and final term mid terms are of 30 marks each and final exams are of 70 marks each

Interview Experience :

The interview questions were not really very hard to be honest for me 1st they ask you about your introduction and then any other activities that you participated in or any sports you played or win and basic questions from your past classes and some questions from 11 12th and why do you want to take admission in our college and what are your future goals etc

Placement Experience:

The campus placements do come to for Somaiya colleges but they are not so good as the amount we are paying for the fees and the category that this college comes under they should provide at least average placements of 6 to 7 lakhs bare minimum but they do not provide that much higher placements even after paying so much fees and even after considering themselves that a very high level high profile college and university that is your relax today I appeared for an placement interview which was very unprofessional it was a campus placement it was very and professional and that will not even speaking in English it was for a cell strainy but it was not expected from the college side that they are conducting this kinds of placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements, many big companies visit such as Google, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, JP Morgan, etc. The highest package is at a whopping 30 lakh and the average salary stays around 12 lakh. Most of the students get placed, my plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA.

Placement Experience:

In the Third Year, students become eligible for campus placements. The minimum percentage of students getting placements is 60%. Practical knowledge is equally important with theoretical knowledge as we are in the service industry so we must know well about the industry.

Remarks:

THe college in all is very good. There is nothing the college quite needs to excel at. I would personally like it if the college works a bit more on their placement activities and conducts them in accordance to the students. There an be a few infrastructural improvements too but those are in consistent progressions. I am glad I am a part of the UBS network and will definitely pass out as a happy alumni with flying colours.
