Remarks :

THe college in all is very good. There is nothing the college quite needs to excel at. I would personally like it if the college works a bit more on their placement activities and conducts them in accordance to the students. There an be a few infrastructural improvements too but those are in consistent progressions. I am glad I am a part of the UBS network and will definitely pass out as a happy alumni with flying colours.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is quite westernised and gives out a pretty hands on insight to each and every student. The modules in itself are quite variant and are nowhere relevant to the basic university course curriculum. The modules are quite application based. The exam pattern has a 3 step structure for BBA with a Pre-test, a Mid-term, and the final exam. It helps you in emerging yourself as a professional as exams is not everything you are judged upon and have to prove yourself through various assignments and presentations.

Placement Experience :

The placements are quite decent and merit-based. There is no kind of injustice with the students looking for final year placements. People with experience are promoted for job roles as per their calibre. More than the final placements, The college provides you with brilliant internships opportunities in renowned firms which further gives the student an opportunity to grab from a pre-placement offer.

College Events :

The college is highly proactive when it comes to cultural functions, parties, and festivals. The college favours the celebration of each and every occasion with enthusiasm. We recently celebrated occasions like Holi, Rang Panchami, Christmas, and Diwali. We hold parties in regular time intervals such as the Octave Nights, Midnight Sunrise, Art festivals and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee definitely comes down on a higher side as anything in the higher lacs is a bit difficult to afford. I personally feel the fees being a little less could prove to be more beneficial for the college. But, yes, the college is definitely worth each and every penny you are investing in.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not avail for any scholarship or education loan as my education is completely funded by my respective parents.

Campus Life :

The campus life is the most sorted that you will ever see as one has complete freedom as to what they want to do and what they don't. We have a lot of extracurricular activities through our gyms and outdoor sports like cricket football and many more. The college also holds academic competitions like the trading day (Thomson Reuters), Model United Nations, and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is no less than a resort. You have all the facilities like Ac, geysers, a common sofa in the living room as the hostels follow a bungalow system. You are also provided with study tables, cupboards, kettles and induction so as to prepare your midnight munchies every now and then.

Alumni/Alumna :

THe current students are far very helpful when it comes down to you being new on campus or even have problems which come with regards to the campus and academics. There is 0 tolerance for bullying or ragging and there is nothing of this sort is carried out on the campus.

Admission :

The admission process is divided into 3 phases wherein at first you have to fill out an application form which comes with a basic application fee of Rs. 1250 ( as of 2018 ). The later stage comprises of writing your Statement Of purpose and submitting your documents on the basis of which you are called out for an interview process. Once the interview is done you get a verdict of your admission in the coming 2 weeks.

Faculty :

The faculty is one of the major aspects which I had taken into consideration before I took admission into the college. The institute has world-class faculties with International academic as well as corporate experience as the pillars of our College Mr. Tarun Anand and Mr. Late Gurdip Anand have both been CEOs of heavy world companies. Every module consists of 100 physical working hours which further help you understand the in-depths of the respective domains.3,

Placement Experience:

The campus placements do come to for Somaiya colleges but they are not so good as the amount we are paying for the fees and the category that this college comes under they should provide at least average placements of 6 to 7 lakhs bare minimum but they do not provide that much higher placements even after paying so much fees and even after considering themselves that a very high level high profile college and university that is your relax today I appeared for an placement interview which was very unprofessional it was a campus placement it was very and professional and that will not even speaking in English it was for a cell strainy but it was not expected from the college side that they are conducting this kinds of placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements, many big companies visit such as Google, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, JP Morgan, etc. The highest package is at a whopping 30 lakh and the average salary stays around 12 lakh. Most of the students get placed, my plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA.

Placement Experience:

In the Third Year, students become eligible for campus placements. The minimum percentage of students getting placements is 60%. Practical knowledge is equally important with theoretical knowledge as we are in the service industry so we must know well about the industry.
