Likes

I like the affordable fee structure of the college but we have no college building till now it is under construction
The campus life of students of our college is so boring as we don't have campus right now
Teachers are still not available but we are provided with very intelligent medical officers and they teach us very nicely

Dislikes

The unavailability of campus. We have been in our college since 2023 but still it has not been provided to us
Permanent staff is still not available. We are experiencing transferring of teachers every month which affected our study also
We don't have practical labs and classes and also we don't have lab assistants

The BAMS course is very good it provide us with abundance of knowledge. We learn to treat people with our ancient techniques of ayurveda which has been provideded to us by our gods along with modern technology which is spreading knowledge of ayurveda all over the world

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 8023 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship of this college will be of 1 year. In this 1 year internship program includes 6 months of ayurveda internship program and 6 months of allopathy internship. After doing BAMS degree only we can get a government job by giving NEXT exam

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees for BAMS course in my college is 8,023 indian rupee only and its same for all the three professional years. For the councelling of rajasthan ayush counseling I have paid indian rupee 25000 and it is refundable once you get admission in the college All the students pays same fees No scholarship.

Campus Life

My overall experience is very bad like the life I was expecting in the college is not being fulfilled here. I feel like I am just wasting my time on this kind of college. The only reason of staying here is the course which is great and the teachers here

This college is not of my choice but through councelling I got admission to this college. I prefer all the colleges above mine college because it has no proper campus and faculty and also the cut off of that season was very high so I got this college in 3rd round of councelling

This course is of 5.5 years divided into 3 professional years each of 1.5 years and then 1 year of internship. 1 year of internship includes 6 months of internship in ayurveda hospital and 6 months of internship in allopathy hospital

As this was the oldest and our traditional science of knowledge it made me influenced to choose this course The areas to improve are the teaching should be bit more practical than just theory and require more practical exposure We are having a periodic assessment exam every month

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always want to be a doctor so I choose BAMS because I couldn't got a seat for mbbs . BAMS is our own system of medicine. The central govt is promoting ayurveda, these are the things triggered me to choose BAMS. But it is very unfortunate that the state govt of odisha is not promoting BAMS which is very pathetic.

My experience of doing BAMS in SSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed here is as directed by NCISM for all the colleges having the BAMS course after year 2021. The classes qre usually from 9.30 in the morning upto 5 for 1st professional students and uptill 5.30 as you processed the year. The faculty timely and effectively complete the curriculum in the best possible way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this because Ayurveda is the ancient method of treatment and the medical field. There are a number of teacher ratio is 4:1.All are well qualified with post-graduate degrees and Ph.D. also. Teaching methods are both old school-like and digital also, and exams are conducted regularly on a gap of 30 days, it's not hard but you have to learn a lot.
