Course Curriculum Overview :

there is nothing like you have to choose the course they give you list of the subject for that only you have to choose the subject and they give the choice in between some subject but it is irelevant because you choose any course in this sem you have to chose the other subject in other sem.In every couse you need to make some project that really hel in real world application.The faculty can improve the teaching method my giving real time experience

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 304000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

a lot of company are coming to college with stipped like 40k and 60k .but they are selecting only 1 or 2 student from college so it is difficult to get a internship in the college you have to get off campus internship.the campy like fidelity, microsoft, dell,visa, and many other company.

Placement Experience :

in 7th sem the student are elligeble for placement.there are any company such as fedility ,accenture, dell, microsoft, visa and many other . the average package is 9lpa and the highest goes to 1.2cr. As per the data 85%of the student are placed.My planning after getting degree is to join indian air force for that only i am filling this review because i need 400 for my coaching fee.

Fees and Financial Aid :

the fee structure depends on various factor like in which category you are going to get the admission.Mine category is 3,04,000(inclusing all tution fee,registration fee ,etc..) excluding hostel fee.the hostel fee changes every year .and there is no reservation based on caste or religion.there is no financial aid or scholarship.for cat1 the fee is 200000,for cat2 3,04000,for cat3 something around 4,15,000 for cat4 it is something around 4,50,000 and for cat5 it is 5,00,000

Campus Life :

every year there are two fest conducted by the college one is cultural fest name as vibrance conducted in feb or mar and a technical fest named as techno fest conductes in september.there are a lot of books in our library the lib is of 3 floors consisting of a lot of books.In all the classroom we have a projector and mic and speaker facility.the physical fitness culb organizes many sports event every month.there a are lot of club in our college every sem a vaccany is released by the club and any student can fill the form and they have to undergo a interview session.

Admission :

I choose this college because in nit i was not computer science engineering .i have also applied in many other exam like for bits and srm.In bits exam i could not get computer science but in srm i was getting computer science but it was at higher price when compared to vit chennai .And i have also searched in google that which college is good.My uncle and friends also told me that vit is good in terms of placement.for admission in vit you have to write viteee exam after that you have attend the counselling.

Faculty :

some teacher are very good in teaching and some teacher are like what they teach are not understandable.most of faculty have did there phd.avery sem you have min 6 subject.and in one sem you have 3 exam two mid exam named as cat and one final exam name as fat .The weightage of each cat is 15 .and for fat it is 40 and rest over marks will be added for digital assignment.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering.
