Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to pursue CIMA (UK) which made me choose this course . They also provide company secretary foundation level coaching. The reason why we choose Christ for integrated course is they make sure that your sem exams and your professional course does not clash. The overall coaching is really good

Internships Opportunities :

One of the internship I know is from younity which is helpful in providing 14 day Intership with a stipend of 5000 rupees ti 10000 rupees. There are other various internship programs across the campus

Placement Experience :

You are eligible after you 5th semester . All the big 4 company come for placements in Christ the highest package for a bcom professional student as far as I know is 7 lakhs per month. 97 percentage of the students get placed in the college. After my degree I'm going for placement opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm doing Bcom ( Professionals) in Christ university. This course is integrated with CIMA (UK) . They also provide coaching for Company secretary foundation level. The annual pack for the 2024 students is 270000/ year and is compulsory for all three years. But they increase the fee year and is expected to charge extra for the next academic year . The atmosphere of the college is spectacular. The college provides various opportunities for internship in many programs. The also give equal importance to extracurricular activities. The college helps us to understand how we can manage both academics and extracurricular activities. Overall the college helps us in our character building and betterment of ourselves.

Campus Life :

There are various extracurricular activities across Christ like sports and cultural. There are clubs for theatre, dancing, singing, etc. Most of the sports are given importance and various league has been conducted across the campus. Darpan and Blossoms are the most important cultural events in the campus

Admission :

I applied to Jain university and Shiv Nadar university (Chennai) . Which I got into both. But Christ was a better option due to its placement rates. In Christ the first level was a test and the second level was an interview. Your eligible to join this college only if you have 70 percentage in you 12th boards. The overall admission process is really good

Faculty :

The faculties here are super friendly and nice! All the faculties take a lot of effort. Any complaint against the faculty immediate action is taken by the management. There are 2 semester in a year and 2 exams( mid-sem and end-sem) each semester. The passing rate is high . Students can pass it if they are attentive in class

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Investment Banking)

Christ is a better option

Placement Experience:

As am currently pursuing a course called ACCA. I have to write exams and there are other plans of doing MCom. After the 5th sem, the students get the chance to take part in campus placements. there are many multinational and regional companies that attend the fair so there is no problem of searching for jobs. companies like EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered etc attend the fair. The companies offer more than 30000 packages for the new placements. Multinationals almost offer more packages and there are other multinationals who offer less, the money is not the issue but the quality of experience that is being gained is what counts. The ones who clear the interview will get the placements. Almost 90% of the students get placements. My plan is to take up MCOM to get a double degree. And am currently doing ACCA along with BCOM.

Remarks:

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
