Likes

Good crowd as most of the crowd is of Gujarati minority.
Good infrastructure and lab facilities..
Good and supportive teachers and office staff

Dislikes

Placements are decent but if u develop skills u could grab a good job
Sports facilities are not that great but sports tournaments are organised.
Extc and aids departments are not that good

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers of the college have a great experience in teaching. Teachers are very supportive and great. Mostly college have 2 unit test of 20 marks and then a end sem of 60 marks. Term work is also considered in overall cgpa of 25 marks

Actually for computer and it departments college have a good placements record. Highest package is around 18lpa and avg package is around 7 lpa. Out of 120 students of computer department roughly 85 appeared for placement and 71 were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category fees is 195214 For obc/ebc its 112614 In spot round all have to pay the general category fees. So if u fall under any category its the good path to continue the btech degree

Campus Life

Kjsit have a good campus life and the best extracurricular facilities. Clubs like IEEE and robocons are there which are very active. Many guest lectures and coding lectures are arranged in the college to help students.

Hostel Facilities

College also have hostel facility which includes breakfast lunch and dinner.But the hostel is way more costly. It would cost u around 2.8 lacs a year . So mostly students go for pgs and hostels in sion or wadala

Admission

I was actually trying for DJ Sanghvi College of engineering but was not able to get it as i didnt apply for spot or ils round.Mostly in kjsit and djsce cet and jee marks are considered and admissions are done through cap rounds.

Faculty

College has a good faculty to student ratio . The best are the it and computer departments of the college. This departments students are able to grab a good intership and jobs too. As the college is autonomous no one is failed in exams

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
