- Campus: The campus is spacious and green. It feels live as there is lots of greenery in the campus.
- Infrastructure: The infrastructure of all the buildings in the campus are exceptionally well including the hostel building. Also the engineering college building is now under renovation and many new things have been added.
Dislikes
- Hostel: Even though the infrastructure of the hostel building is nice there are many unrequired rules and regulations which make the students feel restricted.
- Cafeteria: The cafeteria infrastructure is also good but the food provided is costly and not worth it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Specific aspetcs of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was that they were giving specialisations in latest technologies like AI, CyberSecurity ,etc. However, the curriculum does not prepare one for real-world applications or further academic pursuits as there are no practical applications taught. Everything is focuse on rote learning. Every are need to improved in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of timing and exam depnds. Like the unit test is too late into the semester. Then after 1 month there are mid sem exams conducted and within 15 days of midsem we have our endsem exam.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwardS. That is only last year students are allowed to sit for placements. Only 5% of students get placements. There are no big companies coming to the capmus. The one's that do come offer an average package of 3-4lpa. I plan on sitting for government exams after getting my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fees that I been paying is 1,35,000. Some of my classmates have also given a donation of upto 4,00,000 and have been paying it yearly. There are additional examination fees in every semester of 800 to 1000/- Students from all categories pay the same amount of fees. There are no scholarships or financial aids available as this come under private university.
Campus Life :
There is only one annual fest held here named 'Antarang'. It is held in the month of february. There are only limited books available in the library. And the library itself is conjested. There is only 1 projector present in all classrooms. There is an annual sports event held named 'Vijay Trophy' and an intercollege sports even named 'Rajveer Trophy'. There are various student run social groups, clubs in the college each having a different set of members and coordinators. Also there is a studet council.
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure of the hostel in really good. The facilities provided are bed, table, chair, bookshelf to all the students. There are also 4 washing machines available but you have to pay to use them. The mess meal of hostel is okay. The registration process of hostel is offline.
Admission :
I had applied to many different colleges along with this one. But since those were covid times, the admissions were delayed in all the colleges. This college was the first one to reply. So that is why I chose this college. There is no proper process for admission. One can give MHT-CET or even get admission through management quota or through donations.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is very bad here. We have 4 divisions in CE branch with 97 students in each branch and only 12 faculty members available for CE as well as IT branch. In my experience of 3 years I have come across only 2 good faculty members. There are 3 exams conducted every semester. They are - Unit Test - Midterm - Final exam These exams are not difficult at all. Only the topics that are taught in class are asked exactly as it was in the exam paper. Sometimes the invigilator doesn't even care what the students are doing in the examination hall.
