Remarks :
Positives - Good amount of focus on self development. They also have good PPE pattern focusing on student development. Negative - Not that great placement for campus as compared to Pune colleges. Have to go for off campuses. But is best in Solapur district.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good considering all the aspects such as infrastructure, labs, faculty. Exams were on semester basis of 6 months each. We had 4 years degree college. So total 8 semesters. 20 percent marked were there for term work. Other 80 percent from exam.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good but not with top notch MNC companies. They are few like TCS and infy, but of the time they select few of the student. College wasn't giving internship and we had to go in serach for internship. In some cases they provide assistance also.
College Events :
There are many events. Specifically MESA, Cultural Fest, Social Work, Annual Gathering, Robotics events. Etc. College is very good in terms of organising many events which will help develope talents in all aspects.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is expensive considering almost a 1 lacs fees per year. We can get some Pune college also in the same fee. College needs to work on fee structure a bit. Also as like other places getting scholarship is difficult and takes lot of time.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did availed scholarship benefits. But many of my friends use to get it. First they have to pay the fees at the start of the year and after a one or two years they use to get that back. It is moderately simple to get fees.
Campus Life :
College is very well know for extra curricular activities. They will provide very good assistance if you have any special skills in any sports or artist. Every year they organise national level sport events like Cricket, kho kho, kabbadi, volleyball etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is not that great. Have 3 4 good food options available near the campus. But it is always good to cook by your self and eat instead of many of the mess around the college. College canteen quality is good though.
Alumni/Alumna :
They have formed a group for alumni. Each year they invite all alumni and felicity's them. Alumni also give very good guidance to new engineers. It's fun to be part of such event. College is good in organising these events.
Admission :
After 12th I had given CET exam for which I got 132 marks out of 200. Based on CET exam filled application form and given college of Pandharpur as my first preference. I got admission to this college in first round itself.
Faculty :
Some faculty are best among the talents. But for some of the branches they take new faculty which are just passed out of college. So sometimes it is difficult to completely understand a subject with practical knowledge.
