  • Extra classes are taken even on weekends, but sometimes they are highly essential also.
  • Communication among students is not mostly in English as it is required for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses curriculum is built up to the point. Each and every course is needed for us to study and understand it better. It is well extended for upto 6 months in every sem. Comprehensive skills are also well attained by us by following the guidelines of our teachers. The books are well written and understood simplifiedly.

Internships Opportunities :

In 4th year 7th sem there is a RAWE and IA programme , It is a kind of unpaid internship provided for each and every student. Certificate is also granted after its completion. In that internship we get to know the industry details and village experience.

Placement Experience :

Our college have good placement . We get the placement opportunity in college itself via help of the placement cell, in the field of markerting, or under private industdry, or salesmanship, and other positions with an average package of 15000/- rupees. There is a huge scope after completion of our degree in competitive exams to get govt. jobs easily, or becoming professors, researchers, junior assistant, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

EBC/OBC/EWS; Open/Minority/ Over Income; SC/ST; NT/SBC - 68500 But scholarship is available Student applicable fee after scholarship :- EBC/OBC/EWS :- 37504.50 Open/ Minority/ Over Income :- 68500 [ 34250+34250] SC/ST :- 0 NT/ SBC :- 6509 The fees increases slightly every year.

Campus Life :

The overall experience was excellent. The campus life involved various ups and downs, we enjoyed all the functions , they made us socially brave, and brave to speak fluently on stage. Although there are no clubs yet various groups are made on special ocassion arrangement times, like event management. Infrastructure is also good and well equipped.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is also good, they give us all the facilities such as good clean rooms, healty fresh envt. , gyesers, etc. the total hostel fees is 12000 per year and Mess is of 2000 per month within hostel itself.

Admission :

I choose this college as it was a A grade college, and near to my homecity. I got selected via Cap round, and the college stands uniquely in comparison to other college in terms of education, regular colleges , well equipped classes, labs ; also it has a wide campus. I could not make to other govt. college because of reservations as OBC candidate require more score to get admission in any govt. college. Admission process:- submit all the documents accordingly and pay the money online. sign the roster form from all the professors.

Faculty :

There is a specialised Phd Holder faculty for each and every course. There are a total of 10 or more course subjects in each subject including both practicals and theory. The various courses are distributed according to 0+1, 1+1, 2+1, 1+0, 0+2, 2+0 scales. Here first digit indicates theory marks and second digit indicates practical marks. 0 = 0, 1 =50, 2 = 100. Exam system :- a unit teest of 10 or 20 marks is held per sem of theory later the sem end final exam is conducted of both practical and theory separately .

Placement Experience:

For campus placement, students are eligible from seventh semester. Placement done through companies or industry attaches to college according to their requirements and take interview of those students who applied for campus placement. There are some known company's like Sygenta, BAYER crops, Advanta, RCF, sugar factories and milk dairy, Amul, Ferrero rocher, Mahindra, TATA etc. Highest package was 9.2 LPA from BAYER. There is no percentage matter for placement just students should have Skills , communication, Marketing, decision-making etc. My plans after getting degree is to get admission in IIM Ahmedabad for next PG in MBA Finance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture course curriculum is semester based course in which equal emphasis is given on both pratical and theory part. Curriculum is developed by ICAR committee based on modern innovations and research done by scientists at IARI, New Delhi and is updated with time. One needs to pass seperately in practical as well as theory exam as per the credit or marks the subject holds. In 7th semester you are exposed to practical experience by means of RAWE- which is a kind of rural internship which gives you chance to apply all learnings of subjects that studied from 1st to 6th semester and then in 8th semester you are exposed to business modules that prepares you to commercially test your skills in real day world. Overall the whole curriculum is easy to moderate and one tends to enjoy the practical part more .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I thought about farmers and choose to pursue a graduate in this field. There are also many job opportunities in this field further. The faculty is highly educated. All the staff had pursued master's in agriculture. The staff is supportive. It is difficult to pass the degree with 12 subjects every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue studies in Agriculture as it's a somewhat non-conventional but very important subject for the country. Faculty: student is I must say very good. You'll easily find at least 4-5 professors in each department so there's no dearth of Faculty. You can approach them any time easily. Each faculty is highly qualified and commands great knowledge of the subject matter. Almost every faculty have been associated with most eminent institutions and even international institutes as well and has contributed to several research work. The teaching method is good but they prefer to teach in the local language (Marathi) which can be a hindrance for other states' students. However, they shift to English if raised concerned. Exams are conducted in a very disciplined manner and very timely whether midterms or semester-end exams. In this regard, the college is very punctual. The difficulty level to pass the exams is moderate. However, very little leniency is given while evaluating the answer

Admission:

Admission to the UG program is on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by ICAR. Students clearing the entrance exam are invited for further process. The entire selection process is pretty tedious and lengthy.

Placement Experience:

The placement process is not that good in our college. Packages that were offered to my seniors, started from 20k/month. I wanted to do a PhD that’s why the poor placement process never bothered me. Most seed companies and fertilizer companies would come for the placement process on our campus.
