Course Curriculum Overview :

The main thing is that most of the study done on practical base as prime purpose to provide practical skills to students to acquire knowledge with experience. Exam pattern is Semester wise for all years of degree programs. Area of improvement is in mess food and hostel facility.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship trough various companies like Sygenta and Bayers where role is to participate in production process and management, marketing and sales management, promotional activities etc. And alsonthese are paid internship as they pays to us according to task or work done with providing certificates.

Placement Experience :

For campus placement, students are eligible from seventh semester. Placement done through companies or industry attaches to college according to their requirements and take interview of those students who applied for campus placement. There are some known company's like Sygenta, BAYER crops, Advanta, RCF, sugar factories and milk dairy, Amul, Ferrero rocher, Mahindra, TATA etc. Highest package was 9.2 LPA from BAYER. There is no percentage matter for placement just students should have Skills , communication, Marketing, decision-making etc. My plans after getting degree is to get admission in IIM Ahmedabad for next PG in MBA Finance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to reservation quota there is two options for CAP round ( MHT- CET) first is for all students who are from reservation they get 50% tution fee and Examination fee from state government. The total fee for year is ?65,000 and for hostel is ?25,000. Category wise there are another option for students that is they can obtain again 50% concession in college fee. go non- merit( Non CET) students can take admission through management quota and fee for management quota is ?1,50,000 per year and there is also 50% concession in fee if they belong to applicable category. There is no any lab fee but Development fee is ?200 per year and another amenities like swimming pool, Gym, Turf has different charges like ?1200, ?700 and ?3000 respectively. there are many scollerships are followed from state and central government. Students can avail upto 90% save on their academic fees and expenses from that scollerships if they are applicable.

Campus Life :

In every year there are many programs, functions and days are celebrated in college. Mainly it includes from freshers party to every festival like Ganesha, Dashara, Eid, Christmas, etc , Sports days and Traditional days, Halloween, movie days, gathering, Navratri, trekking, trips, visits and some others days. Library is huge and has about more than 1 lacks of book collection includes novels, journals , articles, research papers, etc. And has free access to every one. Classrooms are modern it includes comfortable sitting chair with writing pad, degital screens , AC, projector, lights, fans , air vents ,large windows, fire alarm system, charging points, back space with cupboard for students etc in each class. Every sports are played in campus some of them are selected in State, National, all India, And Asian Games and University Chashak etc.( Running, jwaling, swimming, football, tennis, fighting club, Boxing, long jump high jump, vollyball, Kabadi, Kho-Kho, Cricket club, rillay, wrestling, Archary, chase , carooms etc. In social programs students actually participate and manages the program who built there Responsibility, leadership, improve their communication, Management skils etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There are three type of hostel first one is UGC hostel for first year students, Common hostel and International hostel. UGC and Common hostel has 6 Flores and 16 rooms in each Flore and carpet area of each room is 410 sqft. With one window, one washroom and one bathroom in each room and common hostel has seperate washroom as it is common for each Flore. Hostel ( Mess ) food includes two vegetables dishes , chapatis (Roti), Rice, pickles and salad, Eggs and Nonveg are at Sunday's and Wednesday. Quantity is not satisfying but quantity is unlimited. Per month mess bill is ? 2,100 per month and hostel fees is ? 25,000 per month. There is also hostel committee for anti-ragging. CCTV cameras, fire alarm system, lift and stairs, Solar water heaters , switch borads , duplex beds , fans and lights for hostel rooms.

Admission :

My first choice was College of Agriculture Pune but it missed by me only 0.8% percentage from final list. Then next preference is College of Agriculture businesses management Baramati I got confirmed addmission through Merit list. Addmission process is simple as from Merit list we have to select college preferences and according to listing callege call to us for addmission if, we get our preferred college then visit there and complete all documentation process along with college fees and here addmission is done. Admission is through MHT-CET examination in which minimum eligible percentage is 90% for grade A and 75% for Grade B, and there is no percentage limit for management quota only just they appeared a CET exam percentage matters.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is 1:12 ( One professor on 12 students), full supporting and leading to students. Most important is Faculty of Economics, Marketing, Business Management, Finance , Agronomy, Entomology, botany, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry has alomost Doctorate staff (PH.D) from top government institutions. Exam pattern for first and second year is moderate and from sesond year to last year quite tough for students for both UG & PG students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture course curriculum is semester based course in which equal emphasis is given on both pratical and theory part. Curriculum is developed by ICAR committee based on modern innovations and research done by scientists at IARI, New Delhi and is updated with time. One needs to pass seperately in practical as well as theory exam as per the credit or marks the subject holds. In 7th semester you are exposed to practical experience by means of RAWE- which is a kind of rural internship which gives you chance to apply all learnings of subjects that studied from 1st to 6th semester and then in 8th semester you are exposed to business modules that prepares you to commercially test your skills in real day world. Overall the whole curriculum is easy to moderate and one tends to enjoy the practical part more .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I thought about farmers and choose to pursue a graduate in this field. There are also many job opportunities in this field further. The faculty is highly educated. All the staff had pursued master's in agriculture. The staff is supportive. It is difficult to pass the degree with 12 subjects every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue studies in Agriculture as it's a somewhat non-conventional but very important subject for the country. Faculty: student is I must say very good. You'll easily find at least 4-5 professors in each department so there's no dearth of Faculty. You can approach them any time easily. Each faculty is highly qualified and commands great knowledge of the subject matter. Almost every faculty have been associated with most eminent institutions and even international institutes as well and has contributed to several research work. The teaching method is good but they prefer to teach in the local language (Marathi) which can be a hindrance for other states' students. However, they shift to English if raised concerned. Exams are conducted in a very disciplined manner and very timely whether midterms or semester-end exams. In this regard, the college is very punctual. The difficulty level to pass the exams is moderate. However, very little leniency is given while evaluating the answer

Admission:

Admission to the UG program is on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by ICAR. Students clearing the entrance exam are invited for further process. The entire selection process is pretty tedious and lengthy.

Placement Experience:

The placement process is not that good in our college. Packages that were offered to my seniors, started from 20k/month. I wanted to do a PhD that’s why the poor placement process never bothered me. Most seed companies and fertilizer companies would come for the placement process on our campus.
