Shri Shivaji College of Agricultural Biotechnology (SSCAB), Amravati was established in 1959. Shri Shivaji College of Agricultural Biotechnology is affiliated to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. The Shri Shivaji College of Agricultural Biotechnol is managed by Shri Shivaji Education Society, which is second largest education society in the State of Maharashtra. The Shri Shivaji Education Society started in 1932 by Shikshan Maharshi and Krushi Ratna, Late Dr. Panjabrao alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh, the first union Minister of Agriculture. The college offers Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology course. The entire infrastructure required for providing quality education, and most of the facilities are available in the college like Library, laboratories and Hostel. Facilities for sports and allied activities are available at the Colleges.

There are only two courses in the college first, bachelor course in agriculture and biotechnology and Second, diploma in biotechnology. After you get admission in first semester you get 6 subjects which are agriculture microbiology, principals of plant physiology , horticulture, antomology, English, physical education. Every course teaches knowledge about different things in our daily lives.
