Remarks :

Positive remarks:- Atmosphere of college is totally education friendly. As it is very strict, there is no problems of ragging at all. There is a library as well as separate study forum for students which is available 24/7

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum contains 8 semester each of 4-5 months, where as 6 semester are for theory and practicals and 2 are based on complete practical knowledge. 7th semester is of RAWE where students have to stay in the villages and perform practicals in allowed fields for 5 months and have to submit seasonal reports in college in particular department.

Placement Experience :

Yes but very little, only 2-3 company reach to the college having 4 month interns and maximum package of 2.5 lac/annum. 30% students were selected through placement in academic year 2018-19. It is based on the theory and then interview.

College Events :

First major events to be celebrated in college is sports events, in the month of January-February, every Saturday Sunday, various games are played as inter class tournaments. Next is gathering conducted in February. Under NSS some small events like teachers day programs are also celebrated in full of joy.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure varies by cast. For minority 58000/year is the average fees. For OBC it is of Half of it. Students can get different types of scholarship. Hostel fees is very low as 12000/year. Mess fees varies from which you join

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I've not availed for scholarship as I'm from minority. Other students get Shatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship, and other cast wise scholarship. Up-to 100% scholarship has availed as per the cast of students.

Campus Life :

There is all facilities regarding all the games in the college. Ground is not such maintained but provides facilities as possible to them. Sports teachers are very supportive to students, and students from our college win university tournaments every year in different games

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I've opted for hostel. Hostel is quite of lower quality. Not such a high quality. Water quality is quite harder. Cleanliness is maintained. There is no wood lockers for students. Rooms to be cleaned by students themselves

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, senior students are very helpful. There is no problems of ragging at all. 4th year students are not allowed to stay in hostel. There is no problem regarding seniors. Some of the seniors are like brothers for juniors. Most of the seniors are good at all.

Admission :

I've been admitted through minority seats. I reach to college, talk to the principal and admission department and complete the process regarding admission. But now the admission process quite changed, you have to give entrance test, then have to submit online form on MCAER site, and have to wait for cap rounds.

Faculty :

Faculties are well educated most of them are completed there PHD and some of them are M.Sc. Some teachers are the students of this college which are being topper of there batch. Some are well experienced up-to 15 years.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement, students are eligible from seventh semester. Placement done through companies or industry attaches to college according to their requirements and take interview of those students who applied for campus placement. There are some known company's like Sygenta, BAYER crops, Advanta, RCF, sugar factories and milk dairy, Amul, Ferrero rocher, Mahindra, TATA etc. Highest package was 9.2 LPA from BAYER. There is no percentage matter for placement just students should have Skills , communication, Marketing, decision-making etc. My plans after getting degree is to get admission in IIM Ahmedabad for next PG in MBA Finance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture course curriculum is semester based course in which equal emphasis is given on both pratical and theory part. Curriculum is developed by ICAR committee based on modern innovations and research done by scientists at IARI, New Delhi and is updated with time. One needs to pass seperately in practical as well as theory exam as per the credit or marks the subject holds. In 7th semester you are exposed to practical experience by means of RAWE- which is a kind of rural internship which gives you chance to apply all learnings of subjects that studied from 1st to 6th semester and then in 8th semester you are exposed to business modules that prepares you to commercially test your skills in real day world. Overall the whole curriculum is easy to moderate and one tends to enjoy the practical part more .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I thought about farmers and choose to pursue a graduate in this field. There are also many job opportunities in this field further. The faculty is highly educated. All the staff had pursued master's in agriculture. The staff is supportive. It is difficult to pass the degree with 12 subjects every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue studies in Agriculture as it's a somewhat non-conventional but very important subject for the country. Faculty: student is I must say very good. You'll easily find at least 4-5 professors in each department so there's no dearth of Faculty. You can approach them any time easily. Each faculty is highly qualified and commands great knowledge of the subject matter. Almost every faculty have been associated with most eminent institutions and even international institutes as well and has contributed to several research work. The teaching method is good but they prefer to teach in the local language (Marathi) which can be a hindrance for other states' students. However, they shift to English if raised concerned. Exams are conducted in a very disciplined manner and very timely whether midterms or semester-end exams. In this regard, the college is very punctual. The difficulty level to pass the exams is moderate. However, very little leniency is given while evaluating the answer

Admission:

Admission to the UG program is on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by ICAR. Students clearing the entrance exam are invited for further process. The entire selection process is pretty tedious and lengthy.

Placement Experience:

The placement process is not that good in our college. Packages that were offered to my seniors, started from 20k/month. I wanted to do a PhD that’s why the poor placement process never bothered me. Most seed companies and fertilizer companies would come for the placement process on our campus.
