Remarks :

The college has a good infrastructure. Faculty are always good about their conduct and teaching methods are advanced. The classrooms are clean and advanced methods like projector and ppt are used for teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Satisfactory 20 marks Unit Test average of 2 unit tests and 80 marks final semester exam and assignments and other internals including projects. Courses are well detailed and ample time is given between exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Placements are satisfactory. Most of the companies visiting our campus are from IT software industries. We were provided internship at air India under electronics overview division but weren't provided a stipend

College Events :

There are many events celebrated in our college. All special occasions are celebrated with joy like Tie day. Sports day etc. Holi Diwali, Dussehra, etc are given holidays. Christmas and new year are also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is feasible. If a student is bright then fees have wavered. Various types of loans are also provided. Students can also request for special provisions to our HOD. Scholarships are also given to the student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

TFWS Tuition fee waiver scheme for open students below the annual income of 6 lakhs. Special provisions are also provided for SC ST and OBC caste students. If performed exceptionally well in JEE or CET exams. Fees have wavered

Campus Life :

Labs are decent, do conduct sports tournaments like cricket football table tennis, etc. Labs and other rooms are air-conditioned and also maintained regularly. Playgrounds are also maintained. Sports equipment are Not provided by them.

Alumni/Alumna :

Ues alumni network exists in our college. Groups are made and tasks are given on a regular bases. There is a TEEE committee and prizes vary from 50000 to 100000 for those groups who won the competition.

Admission :

Marks as per merit as well as the CET entrance test. Jee entrance exams are also criteria taken into consideration while admissions. Board examinations result is also required while admission into the college.

Faculty :

They are kind and caring. They are good in their conduct. Whenever approached for any kind of doubts they love to help us. They are open minded and types of equipment used for teaching are up to date.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.

Remarks:

Location is most likely a factor for me. It is closed to my home. And the another factor is that, Different colleges offer different programs with their curriculum. For example, as an Engineering student, I had a set of classes that I was required to take, with little deviation apart from electives.
