- There should be more practical labs instead of theory
- Time table should be less hectic as our classes are from 9.30 to 4.30 everyday
Course Curriculum Overview :
The MBA curriculum at Chandigarh University strikes a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students well for both corporate jobs and academic pursuits. However, introducing more global exposure, soft skills training, and certifications could further enhance the program’s comprehensiveness and relevance Frequency and Timing of Exams Along with Perspective on Their Difficulty Level:Frequency: Exams in the MBA program are held twice a semester:Mid-Term Exams: Usually occur around the 6th or 7th week of the semester.End-Term Exams: Held at the end of the semester, covering the entire syllabus. In addition, there are internal assessments like quizzes, assignments, and presentations which also contribute to the final grades.Timing: The exams are scheduled well in advance, giving students ample time for preparation, though the frequency of internal evaluations can sometimes feel intense.

Campus Life :
Campus life is the best here at chandigarh university There are so may tech fests and other cultural programs There are lots of sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus There is a program almost everyday in the university
Hostel Facilities :
Currently i am in a 5 seater room in one of the hostels in my university and it is a big room with all the basic facilities Meal quality is also good in our hostel sometimes the food is great and sometimes its just eatable There are lot of menu options Registeration process is very easy for hostels Although i would suggest that they add some kind of survey at the registeration page for hostels so that they can arrange students in accordance to their sleeping habits because i face that issue as i sleep at 9 pm and they do not sleep until 2 am in the morning sometimes But at the end of the day i would definitely recommend hostels over local flats and pgs available near the campus
Admission :
I didn't apply for any other college as i knew this college was perfect for me considering factors like placement records, close to my hometown, best faculty members, good administration, etc. For admission in chandigarh university everyone has to go through the cucet exam held by chandigarh university and everyone has to pass it to get into this university 40 % is the approximate cutoff for this exam
Faculty :
Ratio: Chandigarh University has a relatively low student-to-faculty ratio, typically around 25:1, but this can vary depending on the department. This ratio allows students to receive adequate attention in classes. Relationship: The faculty-student relationship at Chandigarh University is considered positive in many departments. Professors are generally approachable, and students are encouraged to seek guidance outside of regular class hours. There are official mentorship programs where each faculty member is assigned a group of students to provide career advice, academic support, and counseling.Approachability: Most faculties have open office hours or are accessible via emails or appointments, and they respond positively to academic inquiries or project-related concerns. Students who actively engage with their professors often benefit from better guidance, especially during final year projects and internships. Personally i dont want to name any teacher but i like most of my teachers
