Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculam is according to Indian Nursing Council and the course in very helpful for the students in learning real life applications. There is also a system of extra classess where the weak students get extra focus from faculties. The 2 internal exams take place at a span of 2 months each and at last the final semester in 6th month of the semester.

After completing the 8th Semester (internship) the students get placed in various hospitals across the country like Manipal, Appollo, Narayana, etc... The average package varies from 3-5 lakhs per year also changes with the state where they work. Almost every students get placed after completing the internship. The college also offers placement in its own hospital, KIMS Hospital if they want to work their. My plan is to do M.Sc after completing B.Sc

Our college mainly provides 3 course . B.Sc Nusing, M.Sc Nursing and GNM Nursing (diploma course). I am pursuing B.Sc Nursing from KINS and I took admission in 2022. My course fees in Rs. 4,04,000 which includes everything like development fees, lab fees, etc. Apart from this I have to pay Rs.1,000 as examination fees per final semester (total 8 semester in 4 years). Our college also offers scholarship to students from Rs. (5,000-10,000) per month who comes 1st in each semester exam.

Campus Life

5

In an academic year the college and university has a number of fests and carnivals. Its very enjoying and amazing. The college life is just awsome and fantastic considering the number of clubs, activity center and fests and sports facilities they offers. The college also have NSS, Red Cross Units for giving students a chance to do social work. The college also have a fantastic, world class library where student gets chance to access a no. of journals, books and e-books.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hsotel in fantastic and beautiful. The hostel as a 3,2 and single bedded room facilities, along with fantastic food system. The meal quality is very delicious and I personally gained weight after coming in hostel. The hostel also have washing machine option for the students.

Admission

I have applied in 2-3 other colleges including SRM University and Amity University but I have choosen KIIT University for some specific reasons. 1. I come from West Bengal and its very easy to travel from there. 2. The food culture is very similar to that of Bengal 3. The reputation of the college and also about the versatality I got admission in KIIT by giving an entrace exam called KIITEE and there I got selected after counselling.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very good, friendly and highly skillfull. Also there is a good student-faculty ratio where student can get help from faculties individually and clear their doubts. The college as the curriculam according to Indian Nursing Council. In a semester (6 month duration) where students have to give 2 internal exams of 30 marks and one final semester examination of 75 marks. The college also conducts practical examination where students show thier skills and get evaluated.
