- The place is amazing where college and hostel is located. Along with the hostel and college eminities that students get to use after college hours. And also the fun environment and crowd.
- The campus is beautiful with perfection of an infrastructure.
Dislikes
- The negative side of the crowd. Too much fighting and ragging and also the way it's just situated too far from the city.
- The struggle of hostellers when they need to walk from hostel to college and college to hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1) i chose the curriculum not because of what it offers, but because i have the interest in the course since way before my schooling. 2)the curriculum definitely helped me with time management, work stress dealing, and also problem solving and leadership skills that helps me carry myself and my couleges to success. 3) none 4)they are pretty easy and are very much put or conducted in convenient timings.
Internships Opportunities :
no idea as i have not yet recieved or reached out for information regarding the intership process in my college. though i am doing internships outside my college that i got for myself and not from the college
Placement Experience :
the students are eligible from 3rd year for campus placements. i don't recall the names of the companies that visited. my plans after getting the degree is to move abroad and continue my studies there
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got into GITAM through GAT examination that is conducted by GITAM and the full form is GITAM Admision Test. An individual's performance in this exam decides His/Her reduction in fees through scholarships. Scholarships are given based on the individual's performance and score. If their rank is in a good spot than the others, the filtering process picks students who are eligible for the scholarship and provides them with the necessary deduction in the fees. The fee I'm paying yearly is 200000 and my fellow college mates and friends pay somewhere close to 280000 for CSE and 210000 for BBA courses offered by GITAM.
Campus Life :
Events like pramana, gusto, onam and many more amazing events held at gitam never failed to give the entertainment the crowd wants in gitam. so far it has never failed to dissapoint the students going here when it comes to events. and speaking of books and library, it's the state of art. the library is like a mahem filled with books.more than lakhs of books. the technology used in classrooms are amazing. for my department, we do a lot of film making and graphic designing so we are provided with mac computers. the sports in gitam has football, cricket, volleyball and what not.
Hostel Facilities :
there are 4 beds, 4 fans, 4 sets of cupboards and 4 tables and 4 chairs. the quality of the room sucks and it's not clean at all. feels like living in a dumpster. the food is great. hospitality at the hostel is trash.
Admission :
i haven't applied to any other colleges except gitam as i always wanted to go here. the admission process of gitam is simple. you apply for GAT exam and then you get scholarship based on how well you do in it. if you couldn't crack GAT, then you should just proceed with paying the normal feels.
Faculty :
1) the faculties are probably the sweethearts of gitam. though there are some faculties that students hate till their core. but also the faculties that are very friends, easy going and sweet. they're always there for guidance and assistance and are definitely approachable no matter for what reason. 2)The faculties i liked are sujeevan kumar sir, Suraj sir, ajay sir and pavan sir. i like them because everyone except suraj sir, are my course faculty and they have always loved my work and were there for me when i needed them. while suraj sir on the other hand is from sports committee and has been my good friend. 3) Would not mention. 4) the exams and the curriculum are pretty simple. though many students fail to write the exam not because of the subject or the curriculum, but due to lack of attendance criteria that they need to meet inorder for them to appear for the mid term or the semester end examinations.
