JMC OF VAISHNAV COLLEGE

Dislikes

  • Their is no proper infrastructure and setup(studio room) for the students of journalism because of which people do not prefer taking admission.
  • Celebration and events are very less and is not much fun(clg is quite boring and non considered).

Course Curriculum Overview :

According to me their is no specific influence on me to chhose this course as I wanted to become Anchor form class 10th . The carriculum prepare students well for the real world applications and further academic pursuits as it includes all the aspects of media such as studio, camera, laws etc. The improvement that I would like to suggest is that students should be given more practical knowledge regarding the course and the college should make a different department for this with fully equipped studio room and set up. According to me the exams are not difficult.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So I took admission in the year 2021 and at the time of admission i paid ?160000 which included ?10000 as my first semester fees ?5000 as caution money and ?1000 was for registration fees and for next semester that is my second semester I again paid ?10000 so in total my yearly fees was ?20000 and it remained same for the next 2 years(it did not increase in any of the year ). Their are scholarship available for some category students but don't have much information about it as no one in my class was able to get due to various reasons particularly for having low grades in their exams.

Campus Life :

My overall experience with campus life was decent it could be more happening if I talk about their is only I major event of clg that is SPANDAN which happens in the month of February and apart from that their are small small function and events that college held and participate in. All types of books are available in library and is accessible to the students very easily. There are many clubs in the college in which students can get in and I don't have much idea about the sports

Admission :

I chose this college because I have herd good reviews about it from my seniors and peers and had done reasearch by myself too. And yes I didn't got any kind of rejection form other colleges and didn't went for all the other college option as this clg college was in my city. The admission process was very simple and not at all complicated their is so as such exams that are taken for my course. My overall admission was very nice and supper easy because of suhasni ma'am.

Faculty :

So talking about faculties as I mentioned earlier they are the best faculty that any one could know. If we talk about the faculty -to- student ratio so in my college there were total 03 faculties on 10-11 students and relationship between them is very strong as all the faculties are very supportive, understanding and approachable and is fun too. Their is no particular faculty that I like cause I love all my three faculty. Their is two female faculty and one male faculty in my department. Now if we talk about the exam pattern Then in one semester there are total three exams which include 2 MST's of 20 marks and one SEMESTER END EXAM that is of 60 marks. The exams as moderately difficult and few of my class members do fail thes exams. And lastly the relevance of the course carriculum is accurate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main part of the course I have chosen was becoming the link between the information and society and becoming a medium to share those information and ideas . The curriculum is based on the actual and real life activities and daily life activities. More field work and more engaging of actual people working in those field would be extremely exciting for students. The timing frequency of exams and level of difficult are good

Course Curriculum Overview:

To choose this course I was interested in videography and photography plus alot of things specifically because it provides confidence and happiness to me. For real world applications and academic pursuits they teach us about how the people hire you on basis of your skill not your degree. Exams are almost good to go never hard and not too long to be left unwritten And that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a journalist so that I choose this course and course curriculum at Jagran Lakecity University is designed with a strong focus on industry needs and real-world applications. All the areas of course curriculum are improving. Exams are conducted at regular intervals, with mid-term assessments and end-of-semester exams being the most significant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I found the overall curriculum a bit more towards theoretical side. But there are practical Assignments as well such as live reporting, short film making competition, industrial visits, photography and recently they have opened a community radio room as well. So they are now balancing equally between theoretical and practical knowledge, only if the students also shows interest. If the students remain on the back foot, there's not much the professors can do. They motivate, they provide us resources so it's upto us how to use these 3 years.
