Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I love to express myself in front of others. I do love to write quotes and articles so I found this course perfect for me. The faculty members are good they bear good teaching skills and they are really understanding. You will get a homely atmosphere at this university. All the faculty members are NET qualified and some have done Ph.D. and some are pursuing it. The term exams got a little bit delayed due to covid-19 the exams were of mediocre level.

Placement Experience :

The students who are pursuing a bachelor's can sit for a placement drive from 3rd year and the students who are pursuing a master's can sit for a placement drive from 2nd year. The companies that visited in our campus were ABP news, NDTV, Dainik Bhaskar, My FM, etc. The highest package offered is 4.50 LPA and the average package is 1.50 LPA the profiles offered are voice-over artists, news reporters, news anchors, editors, video editors, content writers, etc. Approximately 70-80% of students get placements. My plans after getting this degree are to grab a good job and live a settled life.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is a government college so the fee structure is not so high. It is minimal and can be afforded by middle-class people. I belong to the general category so I have not got any scholarship. I am currently pursuing this course and I am in my second year of college so I have not got an opportunity to sit for campus placements.

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted at our college is "Pratibha" which ensures to take out the talent of students and encourages them to follow their passion. It was conducted in the month of April last year. In this fest "Pratibha" the singing, dancing, poetry, debate, and sports competition takes place among the students of the college The 4th film festival i.e. Chitra Bharti took place last year on 25th march which included the screening of the selected short films made by the students belonging to renowned universities. The nature club is made by students to save the environment and conduct activities. The NSS group is created to organize some events for the students of the college. Some other activities are held for the students to encourage their talent.

Admission :

A person should be the 12th pass from a renowned school to get admission into BA (Honors) in Mass Communication. At our time due to the rising cases of Corona pandemic, we got admission through the merit list. But the method of admission is through an entrance exam conducted by the university. The cut-off was 95%and above. You can find the application form, fees, and date on the website i.e mcu.ac.in

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main part of the course I have chosen was becoming the link between the information and society and becoming a medium to share those information and ideas . The curriculum is based on the actual and real life activities and daily life activities. More field work and more engaging of actual people working in those field would be extremely exciting for students. The timing frequency of exams and level of difficult are good

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me their is no specific influence on me to chhose this course as I wanted to become Anchor form class 10th . The carriculum prepare students well for the real world applications and further academic pursuits as it includes all the aspects of media such as studio, camera, laws etc. The improvement that I would like to suggest is that students should be given more practical knowledge regarding the course and the college should make a different department for this with fully equipped studio room and set up. According to me the exams are not difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To choose this course I was interested in videography and photography plus alot of things specifically because it provides confidence and happiness to me. For real world applications and academic pursuits they teach us about how the people hire you on basis of your skill not your degree. Exams are almost good to go never hard and not too long to be left unwritten And that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a journalist so that I choose this course and course curriculum at Jagran Lakecity University is designed with a strong focus on industry needs and real-world applications. All the areas of course curriculum are improving. Exams are conducted at regular intervals, with mid-term assessments and end-of-semester exams being the most significant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I found the overall curriculum a bit more towards theoretical side. But there are practical Assignments as well such as live reporting, short film making competition, industrial visits, photography and recently they have opened a community radio room as well. So they are now balancing equally between theoretical and practical knowledge, only if the students also shows interest. If the students remain on the back foot, there's not much the professors can do. They motivate, they provide us resources so it's upto us how to use these 3 years.
