Course Curriculum Overview :
Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .
Internships Opportunities :
Here various ngos and foundations come to give students opportunities to enroll themselves in internships. But it's completely on you that you wanna do internship or not. There is nss programme also available for bachelors students they can enroll themselves in it too.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee Master in economics programme is 10600 It includes tution fee caution fee admission fee examination fee everything. There are various scholarships available for economically backward students and sc st students. The campus is average.
Campus Life :
An annual cultural fest ,sarjana , is being held every year and it continues for 7 days holding various competitions. Many classes over here has projector and there is a cyber library over here too. There are various clubs and social groups . Every subject has there own club and additionally here there are dance and musical club too .
Hostel Facilities :
There are many hostel over here. But the only hostel that is the best is Rohit Mehta bhawan. It provides various facilities like laundary services fooding wifi inverter. Here you have to pay yearly fee at once and that is 75000 . The quality of food is also good and they serve 2 meals breakfast and evening snacks. For hostel you have to contact hostel warden and if there is any vacant room you can get that room but not in the middle of the semester.
Admission :
I appeared for cuet pg 2024 for admission in reputed university. And from the marks I got in cuet pg I got selected here . I selected this college over other college because First of all it's a Banaras Hindu University affliated college we get degree of banaras Hindu University Secondly this college has very good hostel facilities and facilities are also good and cooperative. Admission in this college is accepted from curt pg exam and by doing counselling in bhu
Faculty :
The faculty is very cooperative but the faculty to student ratio is little less . You can easily approach the professor by calling or texting them even. I like my economics faculty very much . Each member of that faculty give their best to make us understand the topics . In master there are 5 paper in every semester and there are total of 4 semester. The no. Of students failing or passing mostly depends on difficulty of exam and most of the students do pass the exams.
