Scholarship services are very good and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in marketing and business activities that's why I chose this course. It gives enough idea about the market and its basics in the real world. Courses should get a bit less lengthy for better understanding. The frequency and timing of exams are on time.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Webel and IMS Proschool offer internship programmes in our college and provides tasks, assignments and projects regarding it for the certificate of internship. We are taught about the work and tasks regarding our internship.

Placement Experience

After semester 4 students are eligible for campus placements through the college.Companies like TCS,etc. visits lur college for campus placements. The average package provided is 1.8 lac p.a. Almost all students who complete the interview are eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees generally ranges around 6000rs.Scholarships like Swami Vivekanand scholarship is available that provide 12000 rs. Per annum which is given to students who scored more than 60% in their higher secondary examination.

Campus Life

Not much festivals or parties are conducted in our college but festivals and programs like Sarswati puja, Independence day and teacher's day are celebrated.There are wide variety of books are accessible in the library of the college regarding the course.

Admission

I applied to many colleges like Goenka, Jaipuria,etc. but i didn't got admission in them on the merit. That's why i joined Umes chandra college because it was available at the morning shift which i wanted. Higher secondary examination was required to join the colleges and the cutoff was very high.

Faculty

Faculty are very good and are really helpful and approachable to students for doubts. I liked the teaching faculty very much. Semester and internal exams are conducted twice a year regarding every subject.

Placement Experience:

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

Overall experience in Umeschandra college

Placement Experience:

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

Painted my college life with the brush of kindness

Flexibility in attendance is the reason I choose this college. As 75% attendance is compulsory , college can't help us in that but this college provide linancy. In other colleges they nag alot for coming college daily but in this college you can easily skip one day in a week. I didn't applied to much college and no I didn't get rejected.
